I don’t get the anti game pass sentiment. It’s truly odd that you would be against such a pro consumer move.
Both gamepass and psnow are amazing services. Psnow just added resident evil 7 along with gamepass. Even psnow has an edge since they added control.
Ofc gamepass has the edge with the day and date Xbox studios library and a back catalogue of all their previous releases. But don’t count gamepass and psnow out.

Idk about miles morales, I’m not being a troll, I loved spiderman and platinumed it , but that thing is basically a stand alone expansion. If it’s lost legacy like then it won’t even be full priced.
But Sony has the exclusives from their other studios for sure , personally I’d like insomniac to remaster their resistance series.
Xbox has been so pro consumer this gen they’ve been amazing too. Hopefully their first party ...

I think if Xbox can win the power comparison in terms of performance they can be in a good position.
At the start of this gen I was primarily playing on ps4 and only playing on Xbox for the exclusives. And once the pro and one x came out, ofc I got both and now the main platform has switched,
But now the one x is the primary system thanks to the power comparison of multi platform games performance and ofc game pass and the ps4 is the exclusives machine....
you would be fine if this was $60? Considering they have said it would be like lost legacy? Would a $60 price tag on this make it okay for you?
i would go for the x as well, I dont own a 4k tv yet so heres hoping devs have a performance vs resolution setting on a game by game basis. But an X would essentially future proof the purchase. But its pro consumer so its good, hopefully ps5 disc less can match this price and the competition can get tough. I want them to fight for my money.
so right, i hope they have done something with compression for download / install files. Cod MW is almost 150 gigs now. Also didnt PS5 say 850 gigs was that before or after OS usage? 500gig would mean about 400 being available on series s?

its not a full on game though, as you said lost legacy was padded with open world elements, and you know its not a full fledged game since it was not a full priced $60 game, it was a $40 stand alone expansion. On a side note the quality of Lost legacy exceeds the quality of UC4 IMO because of the shorter length and focus. UC4 being a bit too long in the tooth for me although equally spectacular in its own right.

Sigh which ever way you want to put it, it’s a stand-alone extension of the original game. First light, lost legacy occupy the same space. I don’t see what the complication is here. Despite how much I want it to be, miles morales isn’t the next sequel to Spiderman. :/
This is inaccurate / misinformed. Insomniac pr already confirmed this to be equivalent to the lost legacy to uncharted 4.
Yeah it’s quiet clever they are setting this up as a system seller, and the name recognition of spiderman alone will make this the system seller, but in terms of the length and potential quality of the expansion will have to wait and see.
Because it’s the same engine , shorter dev cycle, most likely a smaller team, this is not the first time insomniac has done this. Aka first light. And they have confirmed this to be the lost legacy equivalent to uncharted 4.
This is not the full fledged sequel to spiderman ps4. If you think t is then you’re setting yourself up for disappointment
Honesty i'd rather wait for reviews, this is essentially the infamous first light to second son, its an expansion, as amazing as spiderman 4 proper , was they are setting up this expansion as a system seller and i'm not sure if this will live up to it. Insomniac is already committed to ratchet for launch window, And this still doesn't have an official release date.

You think that’s the issue? The disc versions were EU , the ps plus downloads were from NA store. So disc vs download of same games were from different regions.
Like I said it is crazy that no one talks about this. Xbox makes this so much easier with the sync system. I hope Sony fixes this with ps5.
Yes downloaded saves from cloud to hdd and and back for the old saves, none have worked. What games have I tried? Think of most of the AAA ps plus / ps now games. Titanfall 2, Uncharted 4, bloodborne, doom, witcher 3, modern warfare remastered. So many more. This is for first party games too. Uncharted 4 specifically.
make saves from disc games work on online purchased games to sync. Its insane no one talks about this. Having played games from early in the generation on discs and the downloading their online versions from psn or ps now its shocking to find out none of the old save games from that disc version work on the online versions. Its ridiculous.
tsushimas ending was sooo good. The music and the feels. Didn’t have any evocative feels during most of the game but that final boss fight really got me. Sucker punch did an amazing job. Brilliance.
