1800p maybe? Would not be surprised if it’s 1440p since demons souls is upscaled from 1440p for 60fps
Yeah I don’t doubt devs will push the reconstruction of images tech further while rendering at lower resolutions. Nvidias dlss, Xbox’s VRS and sonys checker board and general temporal image reconstruction will only push things further and keep the focus on performance while giving 4k images with decent upscaling.
After hearing first impressions of the controller I totally agree. Ubisoft has usually supported launch games on new hardware well. If any third party will take advantage of new tech it’s Ubisoft. Hopefully an update will come.
To be fair I strongly feel native 4k is pointless, the checker board of the pro and one x work quiet well. But if this is upscaled then it’s a good sign for series x in the performance department.
But I would wait for digital foundry, since frames per second are very important, more than resolution.
And native 4k with choppy frame rate vs upscaled 4k on a stable frame rate, I would choose the latter.

I love halo and want it back at its best and hopefully they deliver. I’m sure the pandemic hasn’t made things easy for the team. Now that joe staten has come to help the team hopefully they can have a unified vision to what this game is. Sigh I miss halo
I wouldn’t mind if they can put it on other systems. It’s only good for gamers. Gamepass is a damn good deal.
