Woah, calm down there ol' chap. No need to get your knickers in a twist over a comment on the internet.
Well, first you have to understand the Wii part. Wii was built for multiple people. The two I's represent people standing next to each other. That's why Wii sounds like We. The U is for you. They wanted to give players a better single player experience.
I rather see a new Chrono Cross.
If there was never change in the FF series we would have never had any of the good FFs like7, 8, and 9. We would still be looking at 8 bit figures and exploration that feels like Pokémon.
That being said, the 13 series was a change in the wrong direction. I literally had to force myself to finish 13. 13 -2 was better and was actually fun at some points but it still wasn't the FF experience I was looking for.
I'll buy LR for the hell of it and se...
The only reason why Square is doing Lightning Returns is because from a point of sales and reviews, the 13 series did well. They wouldn't do it if they didn't see money in it. Square is just as money hungry as any other company. They'll milk a series until it's last drop.
People don't want to hear that. They want to believe that people in Japan didn't buy the 360 because they somehow hate anything American made.
The real question is "Who still goes to BlockBuster?"
The WiiU is a next gen console. Wii was the console of this gen. You know? That little thin that outsold both 360 and PS3.
But you can get console quality games on a mobile device.
You can purchase and run games like GTA 3, Vice City, and Final Fantasy 3 on a Android phone or Apple device.
You can also install emulators. Like right now, I'm running a Psone emulator and I'm playing games like FF 7, Tomb Raider, and Dead Or Alive 1.
It matters. In places mobile gaming is a big thing. A lot of people want mobile games similar to console counterparts. This is also happening with Apple and Android devices.
Dead Trigger is the perfect example of a apple/android game that shows how far gaming on these devices can go. Many of Square Enix's games on these devices are also console quality. Games like these are really popular in app stores.
Handhelds like 3ds and Vita are perfect if you want ...
One of the reasons I didn't like Spirits Within was because it wasn't that engaging and it didn't have that wow factor I wanted. Remember in Final Fantasy: Advent Children when Cloud is fighting Sepiroth and they're just destroying everything and Cloud is flying up the side of buildings just cutting through debris. There is nothing like that in Spirits Within.
I just read the article and I can't believe what I just read. Pokémon: The Movie was epic.
That movie is big chunk of my childhood.
Tomb Raider, Arkham City, Metal Gear Solid 4, Ninja Gaiden: Razor's Edge, Ninja Gaiden 2, Lollipop Chainsaw, Saints Row 2, Bayonetta, DOA 5, and Mortal Kombat.
@Lvl_up_gamer You do know that there is a difference between a console requiring you to be online and a game doing it, right? Destiny features MMO type gameplay. Most MMOs require internet.
I own a 360 and even I have to admit that Microsoft has really messed up.
Go to the Xbox.com forums. You will see plenty of people complaining about the same things.
I wonder if Capcom would keep their bogus DLC practices if more people buy new.
I would be mad If I had to pay 60 and they still tried to nickel and dime me with dlc that's already on the disc.
Any of the live action Street Fighter movies (Legend of Chin Life being the worst). Oh, and Mortal Kombat: Annihilation.
Benjaminko, you have obviously never seen a GameCube controller. Google it and compare. Not even close.
I want remakes for FF 7 and 6. I want 6 remade mostly.
