I don't know why you are comparing this to the iPad. It's nothing like the IPad. Yes, the IPad had games, movies, and internet capabilities but the main reason people bought it is because you can do all that AND it's mobile and on the go. The main reason people all like the all these mobile devices is because they are smart, easy to use, and mobile.

Do you know how annoying it is during a game when someone is using their kinnect as a mic? It picks up every little sound and broadcasts it through lobby. It also makes this terrible echo when they have it too close to the TV.
The XboxOne isn't doing anything that Sony hasn't done with their media players and the PS4.

I don't think so. As a owner of a 360 I can confirm that MS does not cater to the Japanese market. They barely receive JRPGs and other things from Japanese publishers.

Okay, let me approach this as a fan of TV and media. Even if they are building it for TV, I wouldn't buy it. Why would I buy a 500 dollar console when I can go get one of Sony's WiFi media players for 100? They have everything the Xbox One has. Netflix, Hulu plus, ESPN and much more.
