I don't know why people come to Square Enix articles to complain. If you don't like what they're doing, why not just not play the games and stop reading the articles?
I wouldn't mind a FF 6 remake.

Just picked up a PS3 yesterday so I can get this when it comes out. Not opening it until I get the game though. I want this to be my first PS3 experience.
13 actually sold better than some of the older games. SE cashed in on the 13 series. Why do you think they are bothering with a sequel? They see profit in it.
At the end of 13-2 time stopped and people stopped aging.
This comment made my head hurt. Versus 13 is a 13 spin off. It includes Fubulla Nova Crystallis and L'cie. Even Type O was a spin off before they renamed it. It had 13 in it's name.
Yep, this seems to be the mind set of many gamers.
IGN reviewer doesn't like the game:
"How dare he have a different opinion than me? Everyone must share my opinion. They must not have paid him or he only gave that score because it wasn't COD."
But when the reviewer does like a game all of that goes out of the window.
Where are all the people that hate on IGN? Usually you will see comments like "You can't spell ignorant without IGN", "They only like Call of Duty", "They must have not paid enough", or "They paid them to give that score". When they have a different opinion they are perceived as unreliable and ignorant but when they agree with you they some how gain credibility and are suddenly a reliable source of information?
I want Square Enix to bring back Chrono Cross. Since Hudson merged with Konami they have enough funds to resurrect Bloody Roar 5 back from the dead, I would want to see that. And Capcom needs to bring back Darkstalkers and give it a modern day makeover.
Why are you reading the articles if you feel they ruin the excitement? That's like saying you hate a certain food but you continue eating it.
Something like this would still be good for emulators.
They don't need to change it up. Go play the tragedy that is The Walking Dead: Survival Instincts and you will realize that these game are better off as point and click games. It's all about the story telling and giving the players choices that affect the outcome. That's all I want. They don't need to try to get all fancy.
If celebrities stayed out of video game we would have never of had Def Jam: Fight for NY. That games was not perfect but it was pretty fun.
That doesn't matter. They announced Versus almost 7 years ago. Just announcing it won't help. They have to show us some progress.
And Versus isn't coming anytime soon. Square Enix keeps telling us that they will work on KH3 after they finish Versus but it's seems like they're not even working on that. I'll be too old to play video game by the time I see KH3.

Nope, it's not going to happen. Nintendo will not let their rivals get their hands Bayonetta 2 if they have a say in it. Bayonetta 2 is going to push consoles and Nintendo knows that. Just because Sonic is going to push consoles doesn't mean Nintendo doesn't need Bayonetta to push even more.
I hope they bring the franchise back. Sonic has been on a downswing lately. Generations brought back the old charm but it still wasn't the Sonic game I've been waiting for.
Sad to see I have to wait until 2014.
