I don't think EA will do this. They want to improve their image and public relations. That's one of the reasons they got rid of their online passes.
Most they could probably do without the required internet connection is online passes.

FF 15 and KH 3 only are better than the majority of the games that were shown for the One.

They showed those game because of the deal they made to get the exclusive in game content to Sony systems. The game itself is not exclusive but some content is. I don't care if a game is exclusive or not, it doesn't matter to me really.
All I care about is which console treats me better as a consumer. I went with the 360 this gen and I'm going with PS4 next gen.
Where did they mention 15 was going to PS3? The only FF game in that conference that they confirmed on PS3 was 14.

I have no problem with it. I own a 360 and I already pay to play online. I'm moving to PS4 next gen though. Sony doesn't want to bombard me with restrictions.

Nobody said the 500 and 600 price points were okay last gen. Sony fans were mad too. That's one of the reasons I didn't buy a PS3 when it launched.
They already have th option to do stuff like this on the PS3. This is just like the PS3. Look at games like FF 14. It's an online MMO.
Just because the option is there, doesn't mean everyone will do it.
