I'm trying to find a reason to keep my Xbox One but the only game on the horizon that interested me is Crackdown 3 and it's been delayed.
Valkyria Revolution is one of the worst games I've played this generation, much less this year. Dunno if it made this list though, cuz the site is clickbaiting.
They made an open world, which was often requested after the first game, but didn't fill it with anything remotely interesting and didn't let you go to ground level (you only get a little peek of an alley at one point). Most of the game is trekking through the same areas back and forth for various objectives. Also had basically nothing to do with the original game and ended on ANOTHER cliffhanger.
Oh, and the garbage rewards from doing the few time trials and lame ...
Microtransaction Hell.
Because the 3DS is old as dirt and most handheld gamers in Japan moved on to the Vita or the Switch. People don't want to play new games on six year old hardware and are only doing so because that's all they have.
His next game was already leaked, and it sounds amazingly unique. It's a game about a photographer from New York working in an England town which is self-declared "happiest town on earth." Every night all the residents turn into cats, including the main character. No one remembers this the next day except for the main character herself, and you have to find out why the phenomenon happens. Really hope it actually gets released.
No co-op no buy. Shame too, because I preordered two copies of every Saints Row game after the first.
Stupid humor and blowing stuff up that would be much more fun with a friend. "Here's three characters, its not co-op though" is a stupid way to sell your game.
Haven't read the changelog, but if multiplayer has any sort of system to join a friend, I might actually get this game again. I know the original plan was to make finding players 100% random and highly improbable, but I'd rather just be able to join a friend directly at this point.
Can't bring myself to buy the game again. Already got the original, Dark Arisien, and the PC version. Can we just get a sequel already, or even the ability for a friend to play as your pawn?
It would absolutely not sell even 5k copies on the Xbox, but its pretty lame for the series to ditch the Playstation fans that have been supporting the series for over a decade.
Either the Switch is selling like hotcakes or it has a small install base, you can't have both.
In what world is this "great"? Yeah, its a niche title to begin with, but its on a console which is strangely selling like hotcakes with absolutely ZERO competition in the genre. 100k would be good for Japan alone, or the sum of a few parts of Europe.
It's not like Nintendo has a history of low supply. NES Classic, Breath of the Wild Wii U, Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition, dozens of different amiibos, and most likely the upcoming SNES classic (which they haven't even started preorders for despite releasing next month), and this is just their current generation of games/accessories.
So yeah, its not surprising, nor a stretch, that people still think Nintendo is purposely supplying very few Switches.
The parts of Andromeda that I enjoyed I enjoyed immensely (the combat, Vetra and Drack), but Horizon was enjoyable throughout the entire game, and is the only game I've ever bothered to platinum even though trophies are stupid, since nearly everything involved content and not arbitrary junk (like most trophies for other games).
No physical = no buy.
PC isn't console. PC has mods, automatically makes it better.
Its single player. That killed it for me right there. Almost all other console Sims games had co-op. There's no reason to touch this one if you have even a remotely capable PC.
Microtransactions are always awful. Game mechanics will always be balanced around the idea of selling "micro" transactions.
"Exclusive" Wii U port.
