Are games not grand.

first video, blah, don't care. E3, once I saw the game, F yeah. Problem was it's release date. Maybe, hopefully at some point this Winter I'll pick it up and have a good go with it but timing is [almost] everything and for me, along with many others, the timing just wasn't right.

it's all the new weapons that they copied and pasted from Destiny 1 and just gave them new names, colors and designs. It should amaze me that almost the entire arsenal are all old weapons re-skinned but it doesnt it.

It's definitely been disappointing to see how lazy they were with weapons and some gear. Of course, again, the amount of content is also already troublesome. And some changes puzzling. Still, Destiny is great and fun to play. Still, we are left with so...

this weekend is Players weekend. So the players are able to wear customized gear etc. It's the one weekend players can show who they are, to some degree, via their equipment. There were some really cool cleats, bats, gloves from across the league.

From article "Stealth kills should be kills, no matter what level an enemy is. If you mess up stealth and have to fight them, fine, make the combat hard. But don’t strip away the one tool that the series is supposed to be about."

I can't agree more. Even in old games there were instances though where what should have been a stealth kill lead to an enemy noticing you and screwing up your hit. Other points made are valid in that regard. AC has never been good at...

there is definitely something wrong here. I've been a HUGE AC since before the original released. Origins has never really caught my attention. Granted it's another AC, the setting is neat, etc, but overall, even after a year off I don't have any excitement for this game though I will undoubtably play and enjoy it.

only thing I noticed is the difference in lighting.

the argument can be made that nothing is "worth it" Food, nah, it's not really worth it for that price. Games, not really worth it for $60. Cell phone, not really worth it. Nothing in this world is "worth it" which is why we decide how we spend our money. My waste of money isn't yours. As for the topic more specifically. Yeah having MP behind a paywall kind of sucks but times change and XB implemented that. Oh free games, yeah PS implemented that for PS+ in which M...

yep. I think they're absolutely stupid. but to each their own, different stroke for different folks and so on.

that's not odd at all. that's typical.

that's exactly why I started using Amazon and Prime ten+ years ago. I can't count on getting what I want when I want it locally.

Probably. They came prepared but they had to in order to make sure the console sold. Without Zelda and Mario this would have been another WiiU out the gate.

I'm not really concerned with resale value. Granted once in a great while I do buy something I decide to flip or trade in for whatever reason/s but a vast majority of my purchases are keepers. If there ever were any doubt I'd definitely buy retail.

However when it comes to pricing that one is one thing I can't overlook. Why pay $60 for a digital copy when I can get a physical copy from Amazon for $50? Same applies to older games that are discounted but still de...

a bit far reaching if you ask me. Don't get me wrong, it does & will have some fantastic games in it's first year. But diverse AAA lineup? To each their own I guess...

Personally all I see is Zelda, Mario Odyssey, Mario+Rabbids and Xeno. Now if I could just put down MLB The Show and get around to putting some serious time into Zelda. most unexpected this Summer is the addiction The Show has created. Mario Kart was always really fun and maybe once on sale I'l...

The Arkham games have mostly been phenomenal. Not sure what could take it's place but I'd definitely prefer to see Rocksteady work on something fresh. Generally speaking I think it would be nice to step back from the Batman IP for a few. There's been a nice gap between releases but a little added time off with something new between would be great imo.

no doubt. Walmart.com seems to have a lot of so called "technical glitches"

3137d ago 2 agree1 disagreeView comment

that's just it. You can't spend all your time gaming. You still need to train, play, etc. Anything is good in moderation. You think pro NBA/MLB/NFL players sit around all day playing 2k/The Show/Madden? No, but they certainly enjoy it in their off time. But to tell kids to, "don’t go home and play video games. You have to practice" is a bit absurd. I mean should they practice 24/7 in all their off or free time hours. No. After practicing it's ok to go home and enjoy some...

not only that darth but Sony continued to sell PS2 for a long time after the PS3 dropped. Also, companies, while continuing to thin released quite a few games for PS2 once the 3 was out. But yes, technical support, repairs, manufacturing, etc. That is all part of a life cycle. It's not limited to the PRIME years of a consoles' life.

I said we'd likely see a PS5 in 2020, 2019 at the soonest when the PS4 launched. With the addition of Pro I think that 2020 number ...

yes I do, my home is under a rock... idk, they said they take your light, blah blah blah yes but they don't really say when. either way, I put spoiler? just to be safe. some people might not want to see when you lose your powers but want to experience it in the game

I thought it felt familiar but fresh. Either way the game, based off the story mission/demo is solid as was the original. Quite frankly the demo was far too small to truly get a sense of what's to come. Plus on one hand Destiny, at it's core was SOLID so it should feel familiar because despite the problems with 1 the mechanics and game were excellent.

The real question is how they can implement content and events in a timely fashion to keep the game interesting. St...

wait, what? *spoiler?* They didn't take your light or anything until the Story mission was done so, what!?

besides, Destiny was easy but if you bumped up the difficulty while playing the story it was decent. After the first couple missions in 1 I played everything on hard.
