I mean, in the first gen there is an egg Pokemon, two pokeball Pokemon, two blobs of gunk, and the mess-of-polygons-barely-repres enting-a-bird Pokemon.
While I will say that there are a few newer generation Pokemon I shake my head at, we can't really pretend that the first one didn't have it's blunders.
But after 13 months it’s ahead of the PS1, PS2, PSP, PS3, and PS4.
Hope that doesn’t sting you too much Mr. Lime.
I don’t really consider Star Fox 64 a sequel. Isn’t it more of an enhanced remaster of the SNES game?
Also, I’d probably put Super Smash Bros Melee up on here, and Super Metroid.
@Marine
Fun fact: No Mans Sky says “Sony Interactive Entertainment Presents” too...all it means is that they are the publisher.
Again, I’m not saying that Spider-Man is going to Xbox. I’m saying it’s technically not a first party game.
@Aenea
Then MS should stop calling games like this first party too.
I think that this is similar to the remake/remaster situation. Remaster seems to be more marketable, but obviously Spyro and Crash are remakes.
@MrSec
That isn’t the proper meaning of the term first party at all. This isn’t a first party title anymore than Ori is for Xbox.
You can say that you’ll treat it as if it’s a first party title, which Sony has said in the past.
It’s not a first party title as Insomniac isn’t owned by Sony. But yes it’s not likely to happen.
Sony only owns film rights, they don’t own other media rights for Spider-Man, so this isn’t quite true.
Still, for this release I believe Marvel Comics approached Sony for a game, so I doubt it’s going to happen ever, let alone anytime soon.
I’ll patiently wait for an official announcement. I’d buy this on Switch as soon as it’s available.
@EDMIX
I haven’t called the game or it’s interactions revolutionary on this comment thread (or ever, to my knowledge), so I’m not sure why you are acting like I have. Also, you are the one who argued that there were a list of games that were more interactive than breath of the wild. I’m wasn't making an argument, I’m asking for evidence of your argument.
It has nothing to do with one particular interaction being revolutionary. It has to do with BotW h...
I’m sorry, but I don’t think arguing with you is worth it. It’s clear what your intentions are; and it’s not to have a civil discussion.
Yeah, I get that it wasn’t a focus for Horizon, but I think a bit more interactivity in all games would be great.
@-_EDMIX_-
If there is indeed a “whole laundry list” of games with more interactions then you should be able to provide examples.
Also, I never alluded to the idea that BotW did these interactions first. But it does have the most physics based inter object interactivity of any game I’ve played so far.
@Servbot
Red Faction was one of the first PS3 games I owned! Great game, and impressive destruction physics.
Interaction wise though, while you can destroy objects there isn’t much else in the way of inter object physical interactions. I’d still say BotW has more.
@AspiringProGenji
I appreciate you commenting! A lot of people disagreed, but I was legitimately looking for examples. I’ve played Far Cry 2. It has some great physic effects (like spreadable fire), but I wouldn’t say it has more interaction than BotW. I mean, even the shade changes your body temperature in BotW
Which games have more interaction than BotW? I, honestly can’t think of one. I’d love to check them out though.
This is something I noticed with Horizon: Zero Dawn as well. As visually striking as the game is, it’s incredibly static. Even the NPC’s don’t react when you brandish your weapons and try to hit them.
@EDMIX
You make the mistake of thinking the word “fanboy” is even remotely close to the language you sent to michellelynn.
If you are messaging people expletives and harassing people with them it is no longer a private matter. At that point you are a toxic user and should be banned.
Michellelynn has evidence of your toxicity, and you don’t. I’m on her side until you can prove she was toxic in the same way you were.
Ed...
@EDMIX
I don’t really care if she started the PM first, or if you did. In neither situation should you be allowed to use the language you used.
Also, she is the one with photo evidence. If you’d like to present your evidence of her toxic behavior please do.
Lastly, can you please stop turning what should be two paragraph responses into a dissertation?
Can't we all just enjoy our systems, guys?
