@Aenea
Why would it be an issue with Epic when only accounts connected to PSN are affected?
I’ve seen and played the iPhone X version and even that looks worse than the Switch version.
The Switch is the best looking and controlling mobile version of fortnite. But boy do I wish it was 60fps.
Not really sure why you need a link. You can’t share your progress with other consoles if you’ve used your account with PSN, and only PSN. Accounts from all other platforms work fine on the Switch.
You’d have to be blind to not see how this is an issue with Sony’s platform...
I don’t think it is just their business. It’s also the business of consumers and potential consumers.
I’m a PS4 owner and Sony fan, but because I can’t even link my Epic account with my Switch due to their backwards policy means I’ll be buying the battle pass through the Switch and deleting Fortnite on my PS4.
Indie games have been selling at a massive rate on the platform, so it sounds like a pretty poor business reason to not bring this title over.
Three, actually. Valkyria Chronicles 4, Shining Resonance Refrain, and Team Sonic Racing

Playstation 4 Release Date: November 15, 2013
Xbox One Release Date: November 22, 2013
Switch Release Date: March 3rd, 2017
I think the comparison to State of Decay and Ori are a bit disingenuous. Both of those games are made by independent studios. I think a better example (regarding Kirby: Star Allies) would be Knack 2. Sony priced that incredibly competitively, and it's also a brand new title.
By that time we'll probably have a Switch 2 announcement and PS5 will be one to two years into it's lifecycle. Meanwhile, this game was announced at E3 2015...
I wouldn't be opposed to SMTV being on PS4 (nor would I be apposed to Persona 5 being on Switch), but let's not cancel anything. The more games on more platforms the better for more people. That way you can play on your preferred console and I can play on mine.
@guywazeldatatt
The gamecube adapter already works with the Switch, and functions with every game (the only caveat being it's limited inputs and no motion controls). So Super Smash Bros will definitely support Gamecube controllers.
@Mulando
Yes they are NES games, but you get to keep them for as long as your subscription is active. You don’t “own” PS+ games either.
Also, 20$ is accurate. That’s how much it costs for a single individual. Not everyone will use the family plan, and you can’t assume the majority of people will. Even if they did, that’s 8 people for 35$. Split that up and it’s only 4.37$ a person a year. That’s a pretty dang good deal.
Your justificati...
From what I understand, it’s online is only missing one feature and that’s party chat. All other standard features are accounted for. Unless I’m missing something.
@Mr_Writee
And the 20$ fee for Switch’s online service isn’t just to play online either
You also get a collection of free games that will constantly be added.
Cloud saves.
And the Switch already gives you the option to auto update software without a pay wall.
@Foxtrot
Look at NecrumOddBoy’s comment history. I think that’s what omnipotent is addressing.
@Blakhood
That’s kind of his point. It sounds like you aren’t investing in games that would put your Switch to use. I bet if you bought more games for the console it’d get more play time.
A console is only as good as the games you buy for it.
@knushwood
I appreciate those sources! Maybe there is a shortage.
@Gameseeker_Frampt
I think the difference between Amiibo shortages and Switch shortages in Japan vs. your proposed PS4 shortage is that the former were well documented by retail stores and Nintendo alike. Meanwhile, I can't find any evidence that there is a PS4 shortage in Japan. Furthermore, the PS4 is on it's 5th year in Japan, and that's an incredibly weird time for a console to have stock shortages.
@JaguarEvolved
Not sure what you are trying to get at. You do understand that the Switch has only been out a bit over a year and the PS4 has been out for almost 5 now, right?
@Aenea
I think it’s time to admit that Sony’s made a mistake. They can make mistakes, you know.
If it weren’t an issue on Sony’s end other account types would be experiencing the issue. I think that Sony put such stringent rules on Epic after they accidentally left crossplay turned on near the beginning of Battle Royale.
