There's a difference between playing a videogame and sleeping. Sleep is a necessity. Videogames...aren't.

But, either way, this argument is pointless. I'm not commenting past this on the subject. In fact, I'm not going to bother looking at this article again.

But I don't let my love of videogames interrupt the more important aspects of my life. Maybe it's because I'm currently between jobs (Love how great the job market is right now. -_-), but taking a day off of work to play a videogame seems more like an addiction than just a core love of a hobby.

Videogames are toys. Thus, I suppose the 'correct' response I should have given was that to say that the Wii is or isn't a toy is pointless, because all videogames are toys. Period.

The Wii can only be considered a toy if the same person who makes such a statement accepts that videogames are toys. If one does not accept that, then it, therefore, must be false that the Wii, according to the same definition, is a toy.

It's a video game console. Video game consoles are, at their core, toys. The 360 and PS3 are also toys, as is the DS.

The Wii optical disk, dual layer, can store up to 8.54 GB of data.

Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 were not native HD, so why does HD matter in this scenario?

And did you reply to my comment that the Wii could handle ports of Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2, just like it handled co-release of Silent Hill: Shattered Memories and a port of Okami, by directly trolling the Wii? If so, then I feel sorry for you...because that's just pathetic.

"I don't think the Wii could support KH 1 or 2, mostly because they game does look good and its a pretty big game."

The Wii could handle both KH 1 and 2. The Wii is stronger than the PS2, so there would be no reason it couldn't.

Aiming with the Wiimote is so much more comfortable (And, personally, precise) to me than aiming with an analog stick. I can't aim with the Wiimote on the 360, so why would I buy a 360 for its FPS's?

It's idiots and obsessive anti-fanboys that make the 'ignore' feature here so very enjoyable.

Someone's earned a nice spot on my 'Ignored' list. Thanks for playing, bud.

The PS3 is a real console. Just like the Wii and 360. And Heavy Rain was made for the PS3, a real console, over the other two real consoles. Still, that question in your comment seems pointless considering the undeniable fact that you posted after.

Though I suppose one could argue that the PS3 isn't real...but that would be ridiculous, non? A console that exists not being called real...that would be preposterous, am I right?

I have to say that thoughtless generalizations make people look like idiots. Just lettin' you know...

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories was definitely interesting.

Is that Nintendo hasn't made a Pokemon faux MMO for the Wii yet. >.> I swear, that would sell like freaking hotcakes, and Game Freak understands effective online more than the Smash Bros. team...I mean, just look at the WiFi plaza of their last couple games.

Well, that and the fact that I have to level-grind my Main team for Red. xD Red is such an annoying roadblock, with his lvl 88 Pikachu. >.>

You gotta problem with the most successful franchise that originated as a video game?

5820d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Such a shocker...dude, it's been this way for 3 generations, and many gamers are content with that. Nobody expects 3rd party efforts on Nintendo consoles to be worth any amount of time, considering how much 'respect' third parties have given Nintendo consoles the past three generations, with few exceptions (Suda51. Sega and Capcom sometimes. Ubisoft once.). But the first party efforts are almost always top-notch, so it doesn't normally matter.

But there's also Pikmin 3, Pokemon Gen 5, etc.

I know the list is only 14, and it is a good list, I was just saying. xD

5820d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I'd also add Pokemon Gen 5, Golden Sun DS, and possibly Project Sora. I can't wait for E3 this year. xD

All the jack***es I've met that treated me horribly (online and offline) because I owned a Wii, talked down to me constantly that I wasn't a true gamer for liking Motion Controls, even though I've been playing since the NES days...and, what's worse, most of them have shown blatant hypocrisy since the introduction of Natal and Move. It's annoying, and reached the point where I just tune out a lot of people in the HD gaming communities entirely, with very few exceptions (My older brother, for i...
