First off, I don't give a crap who you were talking to, I was responding to your claim that you can have a pure gaming experience with just one console. Secondly, I then replied to your statement that Natal and Arc could fill in for the Wii, which they can't. And finally, saying the Wii isn't a 'proper game console' is pure ignorance.
Also, 'best' is just as subjective as personal taste, so anyone touting 'best' as fact are fools.
I don't buy Wii games solely based on Motion Control. I buy a Wii game when the Wii game in question is good, and there are a lot of good Wii games. I don't buy PS3 games because A) I don't own a PS3, and B) Most of the games I can either play on my brother's 360 or my PC, or are games that I just couldn't see myself liking (FPS's, GTA, FF13, Heavy Rain). As for 360 games...my brother has good taste when he's picking out games, so I play the games that he buys. Less money to spend on my part....
For a pure gaming experience, a Wii and a PC are the best bet. The PC is a perfect representation for quite a few genres, and the Wii fills in the holes of the PC quite well. So, for the pure gaming experience, you need a Wii and X (For best results, see: PC).
*nodnod*Every time I hear something from Vandenberghe, it's almost always something that I can't disagree with. It's also obvious how much passion he has for this game. Developers that put as much heart and soul into their games as he seems to deserve success.
I agree completely. Crappy party games have been an annoying nuisance for the past three years...easy to avoid, but take up space that could be better filled in with genuinely better games.
And Squaresoft/Square Enix questions why the Hell you think they started their series on a Sony console.
News. >.>
If the game ends up being bad, then oh well. But there are some games that I feel I should at least try to play, and this is looking to be one of those games. Boom Blox was another one I decided to buy day 1, even though I really didn't know what to expect: And I loved it. Same with Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. I had never played a Silent Hill game before, but I was randomly at Gamestop and saw a row of copies, brand new, behind the desk, and felt a need to pick it up. Turns out, I wasn't...
He probably did that for a reason.
Still, I'm definitely going to buy this game, especially since it's only going to be 30 bucks, apparently.
Why have I never heard this game? xD It sounds like fun.
Sounds like an interesting game. I'll definitely be keeping my eye on it...
This Gamewave thing is the equivalent to the Star Fox Wii ONM (or was it Nintendo Power?) cover, then?
My point was: The console is still enjoyed by millions of people and it is still regularly receiving games. Thus, calling it meaningless is, logically, wrong. If we're going to be listing game here, then I'll have to throw in Boom Blox, Super Paper Mario, A Boy and his Blob, de Blob, Little King's Story, Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom, Muramasa, No More Heroes 2, New Super Mario Bros Wii, Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, etcetera. Every game I listed are worthwhile buys from my experience, and the only...
Saying one system that is still being heavily developed for, and enjoyed by millions of people, is meaningless is quite the ignorant statement. Looking at upcoming games alone: there's Xenoblade, Tales of Graces, Monster Hunter Tri, Red Steel 2, Epic Mickey...all looking to be fantastic games. That is, of course, without mentioning the two brilliant games released in January, the games that haven't been announced, the Big Three, and any of the good-sounding games I'm probably forgetting.
I want this game so much. xD It sounds absolutely brilliant.
Maybe? It'd be an interesting concept to base the sanity meter on one's pulse.
Marvelous flat-out said 'no' to Muramasa being ported. Just sayin'.
And I agree, it is pretty likely.
You have no idea what you're talking about. Your emotional bias against the Wii is obvious, and arguing with someone who has such an emotional bias is pointless, no matter the subject. Good day.
