Not to offend statistics, but there were a lot of Gamestops that were asking that people preorder to get the demo, and a lot of people did so without really caring one way or the other. So the preorder number could be very different from the truth.

As for Monster Hunter...I dunno. I'm fairly certain that we won't be seeing Japan-levels of success sales-wise, but it'll definitely have a solid number of sales.
Until it's fixed, all Fire/Flying Pokemon are unplayable competitively. >.> Take away the (If it's 4x effective or if it's 1/4x effective), and just make it: super effective does X%, normal effective does X%, and not very effective does X%. I know that it's trying to make the attack a Rock-based attack, but it's destroying the playability of a decently common type combination. When Moltres and Charizard are listed as Not Used in tier lists, that says something.

I'd commend the satirical purpose that could have been conveyed. The ideals that Most advanced (graphically), or most sales, or best online, or blah blah blah is the determinant of some 'best console' instead of everyone just realizing that personal preference is all that matters, and that no console is truly worse than another.

1. Unverifiable until release date.
2. It likely won't be the exact same as the Wii, graphically. It will probably be a lot stronger.
3. The Wii was their first step into home console-based online gaming (Excluding the add-on to the Gamecube that supported two third-party games and no first party games), and so next console should have better online, to say the least.

So what if the graphics aren't the best? The game still looks beautiful. As long as the game is good, and it doesn't leave a bloodstain on my glasses, I'm happy. This game may not have the best graphics for what the Wii can do, but it still looks beautiful.

Why bother wasting money, making rubbish games that cause an audience to lose confidence in your product and, thus, give them reason to avoid said product? After almost four years, Wii owners have learned what publishers we can trust, and THQ, Activision, EA, Ubisoft...aren't.
Did they have good games under their belt on the Wii? A couple of Gems when one combines all four. Do they outweigh the trash (Not necessarily casual games, literal trash)? Absolutely not.
