Agreed, I've been through two winter, one summer, and one halloween sale. I've got everything I need except for the really new stuff. The only thing I'll be able to afford this next sale is maybe Darksiders. Maybe..

Bioshock, the original, had a mindblowing story. Truly one of the best for shooters. However, Far Cry 3 and some others aren't even out yet, so it's hard to say. I'd agree on Bioshock Infinite because Ken Levine, who worked on Bioshock, is working on it too. And he's my idol.

I played Metro 2033 a few months ago and its story caught me by surprise. It was definitely better than the average shooters story, but it still lacked in terms of connecting with the ma...

No, I haven't played it yet. My little brother has it for PS3, but I'd rather wait and get it for a few bucks on PC on Steam. One of my friends, who thinks quite like me, told me he found Crysis 2 to have a good story. So it's worth a shot.

That gameplay looked quite good. I don't know what they could do for gameplay regarding the Dinobots, but it has great potential, imo.

It does indeed. I really had high hopes with Battlefield 3's story because I thought they could improve on what they had with the Bad Company storyline, but they threw it all out the window like they didn't care.

I think Borderlands kinda counts here to, after all it is an RPG/FPS. But they literally made no attempt at creating a storyline. It's especially bad because it's an RPG. RPG's are supposed to have good, long, and well thought out stories, at le...

I'd like a more realistic fallout. One that's built around the idea of realism (essentially the hardcore modes of the fallout games). The hardcore mod of New Vegas felt like an afterthought, although to be fair, a very good afterthought.

I'm gonna be brutally honest with you all. This bundle was so awesome, that to acquire it I gave my mom a foot massage. There, I said it.

Never knew it was this good, I'm getting a gamepad for my pc soon so I'll have to pick it up on steam. I've heard the mouse/kb controls for DS1 are pretty bad so gamepad it is.

The Creation engine used to build Skyrim is different from Gamebryo. But it does have many elements of the Gamebryo engine. What those elements are? I have no idea. But I checked out google for a bit of info on the matter and came up with this.

In my hands, for free? No? Damnit.

One reason that developers put DRM in their games is because the publishers are pressured by the investors, the people solely looking to make money from the game, and don't care about the integrity of the industry.

We'll all probably find the meaning to life before we find these easter eggs.

If it relates to the story, simply make another game. A "sidequest" that relates to the story is ok, because the original story line is not affected in anyway, but if the DLC is required to experience the original story in full, then it is unacceptable DLC.

It's fine if the developers had an idea for DLC, and coded some of the necessary structure for it to work into the main game, then began coding the DLC after release. But I generally disagree with DLC when it takes away from the game experience, as in DLC weapons in a multiplayer game, or story-centric episodes that are very beneficial to the main story.

Basically, I agree with you.

Oh, how I dislike the mischievous actions of these hackers.

I almost imagined this playing out like Oceans Eleven, in the way that the hacker made off with his hacked goods.

Weren't people who bought a PSN game that had a Vita counterpart supposed to get the Vita version free? Enlighten me, please, thanks.

And I'm hyped to play it too. After seeing the wacky things they've done with the gameplay, it looks outright original.

I can't blow this kind of dough :(

I'd agree with some of what you said there to an extent, except for no replay value. The outdated graphics are assuaged by the art style though.

Despite all of these "faults," the game was still hysterically fun for me, so it did a lot of stuff right.
