That story description sounds like a fairy tale. In fact, it's pretty close to the beginning of The Pied Piper. Nevertheless, I am intrigued.
I've played all of their games and they've quickly become one of my favourite devs. I can't wait two days! It's too much I tell you!
I really like the mindset they have towards creating each location or environment. I like to analyze things and find meaning or beauty in them, so this game will be a real treat for me. I'll definitely admire the work they put into the game.
The country with the most power is only hated if it abuses that power.
I'm waiting to do a second playthrough with all of the new and improved mods. I didn't actually finish my first playthrough, never got around to it. But now there's so many new mods that I want to restart.
"You’ll tear up cloth, shatter windows and splinter wood."
I love this kind of interactivity. Makes the world seem really alive.
"There’s even radiosity lighting, day-night cycle support (finally), next-gen pixel shading..."
Good to see improvements, lighting really helps make a game seem more real. I thought there was day-night cycles in Borderlands? It wasn't the greatest cycle, but it was still there. Wonder what they mean.
...
I think I had something like 60 mods installed in the first month of Skyrim. I loved the mods, it was like shopping in a candy store, where all the candy is free.
I'd love a conference for the Vita, but have a separate conference for the PS3. That way we get maximum Viat time, and maximum PS3 time. Games!
The fact that they release a new game every year and only change a few things is why it is milked. I understand that Black Ops changed a lot with the wager matches and all, but MW3 didn't even budge. You'd think that with all the success they have they'd invent a new primary multiplayer mode (as in, an original mode alongside team deathmatch/domination/ctf). You'd also think that with all the money they make they'd buy dedicated servers.
I honestly tried to play the multiplayer, but I could not for the life of me figure out how to play it. I gave up because there was too much registration to do.

Guns don't only cater to casuals, hence games like Killzone 2 and Bad Company 2, etc. But they are really easy to sell to casuals, hence Call of Duty. I never said that guns were only for casuals, just that casuals prefer guns. It might be too complicated for a casual player to complete a mission entirely through hacking in Watch Dogs.
I agree that this game needs good combat, but it was shown when Aiden beat the guard with his baton, we di...
In the gaming world of corporate elites, this is the kinda thing a president keeps to himself. At least, if I were him, I'd keep the thought to myself.
There's huge buzz around Watch Dogs, they practically stole the show in everyone's books. I think Watch Dogs has gotten number one for E3 on almost every major gaming site.. I think. So it's doing really well for a new IP.
I'm pretty sure you can do the mission however you like, but I would've preferred to see the hacking used to complete a mission solely. I guess we'll see that in the future.
I say online co-op. Competitive might work, but I'd really prefer co-op in a world like that.
WiiU can potentially run any engine. Just not to the extent that you saw in the UE4 tech demo.
I've never heard of Futurlab before, but from the way they say they'd update their game for free to include the networking capabilities, they sound pretty cool.
Wow, had no idea they did a second playthrough where they just ignored the threat in the building. I think every developer should aim to make a game like Uncharted, or like some other great game, but use that game as inspiration, not to simply copy from.
Not many people care to know who the creator is behind their favourite, or least favourite, games music and movies. I like to know, because it often means that the next game a favourite developer releases will be one to watch out for.
I'd love to learn the names of all the devs in the world, but it's not like there's any supreme source of this info. At least, not that I know of...
Now that you mention Alan Wake, I'll have to spare the money and pick that up too.
Here's a great walkthrough of the UE4 tech demo to anyone looking for it. http://www.youtube.com/watc...
It took a team of 14 people to make the tech demo in 3 months.
