To a certain degree. You don't even own the rights to the code of the game you bought. When you buy a game, you pay for the ability to play it. That's about it.

Well, they are judging you, but who cares? Certainly not myself, I play games because I think they have a purpose to existing. I guarantee there are plenty of people that would say gaming changed their lives for the better.

So I can't imagine myself on my deathbed thinking about all the time I wasted playing games. In doing that I'd basically be telling those people who've had their lives changed by gaming that they've wasted their time. Which is wrong, mean e...

They're basing the game off of a roll playing game called Cyberpunk 2020, so they have to use that name. Just some info. Here's the link if you wanna check it out --> http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...

The quality of a game isn't always reflected in its sales. Sometimes games of a lower quality than others sell more, and vice versa. Really, a publisher looks for a game that's going to make them money. Naturally, it should be up to the developers to create a quality product, but often times, a publisher feels the need to intrude because they think they know better. But, at the end of the day, who knows video games better? Developers. They know video games inside out, literally.

I mean more accessible relative to story, and that's what Cd Projekt meant too. I agree with you, I want games aimed at a hardcore audience, I don't mind taking the time to learn a game inside out (gameplay/story, etc). So long as the game is worth my time. But some people prefer a jump in and play game, and that's fine for them. CD Projekt is trying to cater to both those groups, which is going to be difficult. I hope they can do it properly.

Even if a story is m...

I agreed with Tachyon, but not because I think CoD games are great. I have a certain distaste for them, but it's alright for someone else to like them. People are entitled to their opinions, imo. See what I did there? :P

That defeats the realism of the game. The immersion is broken when I have to go out of my way to make a game realistic. If I know that ammo is there, and I don't pick it up, then how am I supposed to feel that I'm conserving the right amount of ammo? A game has to be built around the ammo conserving concept. Think about it a tad bit.

Tis me, Captain Obvious!!! I don't know what a :B face is so I mistakenly gave you information you already knew so as to not help you as much as possible. I hope I can be of further unservice to you in the future!

Chances are you're not doing anything wrong. There might have been an error during install, or even an error on the server. Shackdaddy is right, go to the forums.

You can't use FRAPS with consoles, unless you use a capture card to stream the console footage to the computer, then record what's on the computer screen with FRAPS.

Mine is Borderlands 2, it looks so outrageously fun that I dream about how fun it is and then wake up and feel sad because I'm not having that much fun anymore.

Did I get my point across? :D

What about a game that makes you feel the entire range of possible emotions? That would be amazing. Generally, a game that makes you feel something, is doing something right.

Some games have soundtracks that could stand alone, separate from the game. Others? ...Not so much.

The mod has been confirmed for Arma 3 as well :P

It is a little silly for those mature enough to handle the word, but this is a site for all ages. You're right though, when compared to an ad from Lollipop Chainsaw, it does look rather minuscule.

A game is a game no matter which platform it's on. Just because it's on another platform doesn't mean it isn't good. Going multiplatform means more time and money is put into a game, but it shouldn't necessarily degrade a product's quality. After all, it should be getting more sales from being on more than one console which should, in turn, produce more profits.

It's so true, nearly everyone on my PSN friends list is playing a multiplayer shooter. It's a different story on my Steam friends list though. There's a larger variety of games that they play for some reason.

If they're working on a console, then they have to release it at some point to make a profit on it. Wait too long, and all that tech becomes obsolete sooner or later. However, the later they wait, the cheaper they can price the console. There's plenty of factors involved in releasing a console that I don't know about though.

There are always going to be people that buy an overpriced product. So all we need is patience. Like himdeel said, after a few months the price drops considerably, so the bright side is that with patience we get the good deals. Although, we need those good prices (at launch) now more than ever.

You're right. Plus, with publishers keeping games at the $60 price point, I don't think games can keep selling like we want them to. Game sales are low, but game prices are still high. It doesn't reflect the market at all.

You're right about games not innovating. People don't want to waste money on a game they've 'played' before.

And next-gen? It's hard to say. There are always the early adopters, but they can't carry ...
