I would like to see Lionhead make another Black and White game. I may even get an X1 if they did... Lionhead is a great studio.

Making a viral advertisement with someone singing about a psp for christmas is not the same thing as paying reviewers to play their games and post "positive or neutral comments"
The viral ad for the PSP was not a review of a product! Microsoft paid people to have certain opinions of a product.

And Sony's was actually a viral marketing ad, not paid for reviews by supposedly unbiased youtube personalities.

Oh jeez, Sony's old viral marketing stunt for the psp. Actually back then people ragged on Sony endlessly, without mercy. Now Microsoft pays people to speak positively about the box and you see articles like this popping up defending it. And the same people ragging on Sony 8 years ago now "don't see anything wrong with it"
No Sony isn't perfect, you could go back many, many years and find things they did, but they learned from it and are a better compan...
People were paid to not have any negative opinions at all basically, only positive or neutral. People use youtube to see average people saying what they really think, not what corporations pay them to say. Microsoft should have disclosed what they were doing, so it would have seemed more honest.
How is sony not handing out ps4's anything close to microsoft paying people for a positive review? Just curious.

There is latency in compute, that's why they can't do any GPU tasks, they can only do minor CPU tasks. Such as random AI running out of a room shooting mindlessly.
Playstation now is extremely impressive, just the fact it is looking so good pre beta, that's why so many in the media are so excited for it.

Actually, the fact that an indie game is rated higher than any large budget X1 exclusive speaks at a much higher volume. I'm glad you feel good about spending 500 dollars on an x1, good for you.
1080p native multiplats and exclusives, the highest rated exclusive, the best gaming machine. PS4.
Actually Resogun is the highest rated launch exclusive of either platform, you can't really back up your comment with meta reviews, just personal preference.
I guess my point is, what is "cloud compute" doing that makes it so it can't be done on the ps4 like people claim. It looks like an average game appearance wise, I haven't seen anything suggesting it couldn't play as good or better on the ps4. And I haven't seen anything suggesting sony couldn't cloud compute with openstack if there was ever a need to do so.

Name one thing that cloud compute is doing that can't be done locally on a console, the brilliant AI? And who says that Sony's Openstack can't "cloud compute" in the first place, if ever needed that is.

Because third party devs by definition are making games for all companies, they don't have a bias or favorite because they are not controlled. So people generally expect they will be able to pick up those games on any system they choose and not worry about if it is an exclusive game they are making or not. On the other hand if the ip is owned by the company and they hire out a 3rd party to make it, that's another story.
