Yes the PS4 does 1080p native in all games, even with volumetric fog...

Interesting points made on the forum, I still like the cinematic feel.
@Irishguy95
Like what for instance, name a game that brought something completely unique to the table that no game ever had anything remotely similar to in any way shape or form...
Why even make that comment?
^^How is having a widescreen aspect ratio hiding anything or decreasing anything, where is the proof of that? If they wanted to cut polygons they could have easily done it by any number of tricks that even "next gen" games use....
I never once thought the enemy not seeing your ally was strange, it would make it ridiculous to try and get through small corridors and such if they could bump into her and see her every time you tried to sneak through. Naughty Dog made the right choice from a gameplay perspective and it is crazy to think a game could be "over rated" or a "disappointment" for something that actually improves the gameplay experience.
p.s. congrats to Naughty Dog for receivi...

It seems like it will be a very unique story and game setting. Not your typical game setting and story like so many other games use over and over. It looks like it actually has a cool style to it in the Victorian era, and very interesting protagonists. It looks a lot more interesting and unique to me than some of the most popular games people have obsessed over for the last 8 years.
Maybe they hit disagree... because...... they disagree?
Why would someone use a graphically demanding feature like volumetric fog to cover draw distance? you could just blur everything in the background to create less demand on hardware like ryse does for instance during execution moves. Volumetric fog would be a horrible way to cover the background....
Obviously from watching footage the fog isn't always as heavy such as around 3:15 in this vid http://w...
Ps4 has the best meta rated launch games... That pretty much stomps the games argument, plus sony's studios always deliver the goods.
lol, wtf.
Out of stock again..
Yes, but you can find action figures and some other products of almost any game. Can nobody admit that Halo is the most milked game ever, I'm not even saying it's a bad thing, go ahead and milk a game, who cares. Just admit that Halo is the king of being milked dry... Other games pale in comparison.
I will admit there is hypocrisy in some of the statements made on N4G, but you are really comparing a simple ps vita card game to ALL the mountains of Halo merchandise and products? I'm sure there are better comparisons you can make than Uncharted having a small vita card game.
That is insane, every time I see it I want it more. Graphically my favorite game so far, not to mention it's the most fun looking. *Stunning :o
4>1 isn't referring to a ratio, nobody ever said it was...
It's just a saying "4 is greater than 1"
Just trying to clarify, I'm not saying I think it's true or not.
I think it's good both are doing well too, and props to Sony for selling so fast.
Holy crap, the thing dips to 18fps on the second video, that's horrible.
Gotta hand it to Microsoft on this, they made a very good move. It is a great thing for their system to have this quality franchise first party. Now just take it back to it's glory days, which I'm sure they intend to. Can't wait to play some horde mode with my buddy on his X1.
^^
Difference is, Sony was articulating the reason for no locked 60 fps and such, not by saying they didn't want it, or that lower resolution was the direction they were taking. They were stating, or the devs were stating that they simply couldn't do it, and I respect that honesty.
The thing that bothers me is that in all the talk of low resolution, player count, bots, fps, not having single play (saying it's part of multiplayer :/) hyping the cl...

KZ devs "defending" not being locked at 60fps? What does that even mean? They were saying it's better not to be at 60 fps? Do you understand what I mean by defending and justifying? Obviously the KZ devs wanted locked 60 fps in single play, and drive club devs want 60 fps, and what are you talking about with Knack? Seriously it's a standard size platformer game.. ten hours long.
Yes Titanfall is getting attention, but unfortunately it'...

I'm not necessarily referring to this comment alone, that's the thing. I understand he was explaining the difference between matchmaking and servers.
I was trying to make the point that many devs communicate with fans very well and they aren't constantly making comments defending their game mechanics... Such as them saying it could only be done with compute, then justifying the use of bots, then justifying the no. of human players and so on.
that pic is damn amazing, what a beautiful game.
