I think it looks cool, I will probably get it. I have never seen so many defensive comments from devs before though. If you feel good about your game, then feel good about it! You don't have to sit there and defend it against everyone who ever says anything you don't like.
uncharted and the last of us were my fav multiplayer of last gen...
I'm sure infamous multiplayer could be great too, I'm glad they are focusing on single player though.

-Sony's current servers
-Gaikai (cloud streaming)
-Openstack (part of Rackspace)
"they" have dedicated servers, who are these imaginary people you claim are arguing against them from the Sony camp?
Honestly it does seem like damage control from the Titanfall devs, constantly feeling like they have to justify their game in some way... It looks fun! Why with all the constant defending of something. AI, servers, c...
Plus it only outsold the ps4 by like 1,000 units in the US during the week. That's a ton of money wasted on advertising it seems like.

Difference being, the cell was the grand part of the ps3's architecture, games lived and died by it. The ESRAM makes up a very small portion of the X1's overall ram bandwidth, regardless of how well it's programmed.
And last gen you heard devs specifically blame the cell for the problems they had, I have heard no talk of the ESRAM causing as much difficulty.

yes but the reason for the resolution difference last gen was very different. The cell was extremely difficult to learn and program for, pretty much for it's entire lifetime in the ps3. That's why fans were a bit pissed at devs last gen, albeit not justifiably, that they weren't taking forever to make it on par with the 360 games.
The difference this gen is strictly power of hardware being very much in sony's favor, with unknown reasons for micro sk...
While I am very excited for these games, I would think the biggest ones will be from Naughty Dog and their other major studios... I am very excited to see what's in store down the road from them.
^^
That's a rumor, not data... This article says they make money, but it's not official either.

^ 20 employees? You believe that?
"If true, it seems like the workforce is shrinking"
No kidding, from about 140,000 to 20 is a pretty big cut, I would think that is cooperate executives. Where is your data on what sony makes or loses on PS4's sold?
At the Hot Cakes factory they are puzzled trying to figure out ways to be as popular as the PS4.
^^
Wow, that dude Shane Stocks went off on him though in the tweet...
All this spinning of X1 shipped numbers is making me dizzy!
Good point, I didn't think of it like that.
I'm interested to see what Lionhead is up to, I would like to see another "black and white" those were great games.
I love how the game looks, Very, very realistic.
I just don't like how the main character looks and acts for some reason. I hate to be critical about such a trivial thing.
I wont be playing this, my PS3 yellowed out on me, had the launch console... Sad times
Hopefully playstation now will include the DLC for it too.
Microsoft didn't disclose what they were doing to the public in the videos. I know Polygon said EA did the same thing, but it's just not true.
Look at part of EA's terms "The program requires that participants comply with FTC guidelines and identify when content is sponsored."
It's not like I care, it would be a small slap on the wrist for micro if anything. But if they can get away with it, it shows others that they can too. So who...
"MS, google, amazon and Rackspace have cloud computing"
You do understand that Sony is also using Openstack, which is part of Rackspace, right?
Seriously! Things will get crazy when the ps4 launches there.
Ha, that's a good video, I never even noticed the similarities before, but it seems so obvious now. I still love Uncharted 3, but Uncharted 2 was my favorite for sure.
