Nice! Looks like PlayStation is the place to be
It's just pure car porn and I love it. It's definitely got quirky elements as you say, like the real people who talk with text instead of actual spoken words but I kind of like it, there's never been much in the way of spoken dialogue in GT games. Also the music rally, I don't get it really, but it's fun nonetheless.
I've yet to try out the 3D audio but it sure does give the DualSense a good workout 😀
I used to be bothered about this, now I'm used to it. For the most part it won't be a problem.i never once had problems with GT Sport being always online
I managed to get am hour on it last night. What a game! Running on PS5 is really slick, there's barely any waiting when starting a race which keeps you in the game, graphics are very, very good, the dualsense implementation is excellent and the intro video is fantastic. I'm going to get a lot of enjoyment from this, it's clear that the device have a lot of love for cars and their history
Played it for a little while last night as my copy arrived a day early. I think you'll like the intro if you're into the history of the brands
Performance has been largely sorted on PS5. There's still inconsistent framerates in resolution mode but it's pretty stable in Performance mode
Bigger and better
No it doesn't. It never did
My copy is waiting for me when I get home from work today
Bought it, played for a couple of hours, got my arse kicked and deleted it in rage. Re downloaded and love it.
Glad it's been a success
The games you listed really do show what the dualsense is capable of. I'd also add Destruction Allstars as well.
I just wish that it would get adopted more by third parties though.
This is what it's all about. I'm looking forward to seeing how the DualSense enhances the game, along with the 3D audio
Friday can't come soon enough!
Elden Ring will very much take a *ahem* back seat when this arrives.
Just this minute got a notice to say my copy has been dispatched. Wonder if I might actually get it tomorrow!
Dualsense support in Elden Ring is barebones to say the least. No trigger support and aside from weak vibration, the haptic support is non existent which is a real shame. I know it was by a different developer but Demon's Souls remake makes far better use of DualSense
But in this case the game is poorly optimised. Sure VRR would be good but not everyone can take advantage of that because not everyone has a compatible TV. That's not to excuse the lack of VRR on PS5 but the lack of it also can't be used as an excuse for poor optimisation.
A new persona game please
1: it's a great game.
Repeat x9 times
I'm very much a newbie as my first introduction yo SoulsBorne was with the Demon's Souls remake on PS5. Yes they're very challenging, but with that comes the sense of achievement when you beat a boss that's been giving you a hard time. I love the art style and the sense of desolation. I don't kid myself, I know I'm never going to finish Elden Ring or Demon's Souls for that matter but I have a da...
They can craft a world, definitely, but they need to learn how to optimise their game engines. They can only reasonably be deemed the best studio in the world if they are capable of delivering the whole package, and with Elden Ring they fail. Great game, but the current state of the game - especially on PC - leave a lot to be desired.
I'm playing on PS5 and while I love the art style I do think that graphically it's like an early PS4 game at times, and even in perf...
They must have known about the stutter in the PC version before release though, how could they not? Unless, of course it went through zero QA playtesting.
Watch the DF video on PC performance and Alex basically says it doesn't matter what PC you're running it on, there's no way you can avoid the stutter. You can't tell me that FromSoft didn't already know this was an issue until it got in people's hands. It's unacceptable that it was released in ...
