Evercade doesn't use FPGA either but I'm having loads of fun with mine.
Mine is pre ordered 👍
But it's still very smooth. I'd rather have a consistent 30 than an inconsistent 60
There's still something slightly unnatural about it but at the same time it is very, very impressive
Godfall eh? Nice
Not this gen, although we're getting close
I just got this game for PS5 in a sale and while it's a definite improvement on RE7 I really do think it's one of the worst mainline Resident Evil games. Sure it looks nice but it has zero atmosphere. I get that it's more action orientated but that doesn't mean it can't still also be a horror, but for me that's all gone. And don't get me started on the nasty sluggish controls!
And werewolves and vampires? No. This isn't Resident Evil at all. ...
It did arrive for me. Next gen is less about exclusive titles - they will arrive - and more about the performance boosts offered by the new machines. I've been having a blast playing upgraded versions of Borderlands 3, God of War and Death Stranding on my PS5 and I've also seen a glimpse of what the future has in store with the likes of Demon's Souls and Ratchet & Clank. Seeing 60fps as standard is a bigger deal than graphics to me.
I would ask for a Manhunt 1& 2 remaster but seeing the mess they've made of this I think they should leave it well alone
Yup. This is the best way
Same. I was willing to buy it but not now, after seeing the mess they've made of it. I'll wait for it to be on PS Plus. It's bound to happen at some point and if not, we'll I'm hardly missing out as I've played them all anyway
Yes I was hoping for this too!
Is that maybe because it's more readily available?
That's basically what it is though
Isn't it? Oh well
Was going to buy this but I hear it has some pretty bad performance issues on PS5 and until it's fixed I won't be throwing money at it
Have you played Astro's Playroom? Can you honestly say that what the DualSense adds is nothing more than complimentary? It elevates the entire experience
I love the DualSense. It is so confirmed l comfortable and really does help the experience. It's just a shame so few games really take advantage of it. I've been playing Astro's Playroom again and this is still the best way to see all the controller has to offer. Another standout use of its features is Destruction Allstars
In the UK it turns 1 next week. I feel I need to celebrate being an owner since day one but not sure how 😂
Also, DualSense is easily one of my favourite controllers ever
I agree. I still prefer the original
