Half-life, and many FPS on the PC over the years, its not the best out there. As a franchise though, yeah, its up there near top, and for xbox owners, it is the best fps they've got. Just for me as a PC gamer, i've played the first two, and can say for me, i've played better fps.

Scared of giving you facts. Your own post from metacritic states an average of 79%, and user ratings of 8.8 / 10 (percentage terms that 88%). To many 90% doesn't account for a title being AAA. And as stating by others, if a systems been out for 2 years, then doh!, of cause its gonna have more titles that have scored above 90% than a system that only been out for about 40% of the length of time.

The developers never said this game was exclusive to PS3, hence why it was always stated as ‘Leading on PS3‘. That itself implies that other versions have always been in development, just that programming first for PS3 (prob' have 6 months lead before other versions come out). They would do this as they have a strong background with Sony's PS.
