Commodore64, why perpetuate the same lie/false information, when you’ve been shown in a previous article/s to be lying?
http://n4g.com/news/549640/...
My guess is that you’ve said the same untruthful statement here because the previous article where your deception (just 15 days ago) took place, very few people read, as the article failed to get approval. Well tha...
Anyone who reads the links you post can see your falsifying the facts.
The article you posted a link to states:
“Based on this video, we see that the lag in the fully patched Killzone 2 is 12 frames. Factor out the three frames of lag in the display itself and we’re left with a 150ms “ping” between gamer and on-screen action.
Did you read that? The latency is 150ms from controller input to the response on screen, three frames of display laten...
Yeah, I like the new look. Its good to see the bubble system has been reset so everyone starts on an even footing again. That’s coming from someone who had 8 bubbles only last week to 3 now. Hopefully with everyone starting on 3 bubbles, the fanboys/trolls of the old N4G will be filtered out quicker to make this site a more enjoyable experience to those genuinely interested in games and not some fanboy war between consoles.
A cleaner look. A nice navigation system, it seems ...
To clear up the Xbox 360 sales numbers. Microsoft’s 2007 CES keynote speech states they sold 10.4 million Xbox360’s as of December 31st, 2006. Check the link below.

The PS3 launched in Japan and America, 11 Nov. and 17 Nov. 2006 respectively, and Microsoft sold 2.7m units in this 7 week time frame. Basic math, 10.4 - 2.7 = 7.7m. The Xbox...
Yes you did word it incorrectly.
If you acted in a friendly manner within the first instance and spoke to individuals on this site in a mature manner, you would be spoken to in kind. However, you did not. Your initial comment was incorrect, a lie. You could of taken a more adult response when others corrected you and said “sorry, my mistake”, but you didn’t.
You continued to spin your own comments like a true fanboy. You ignored discussing the full list of sugges...
There are millions of first year launch PS3’s in peoples homes, but you choose to ignore the launch PS3 because it doesn’t fit in with your argument about backwards compatibility of the PS2? The slim PS3, yes has the PS2 backwards compatibility absent, but it still has all the other functions like wifi, hard drive replacement, web-browser, (the three things you conveniently have ignored mentioning). The article says in regard to backwards compatibility, “play an original title on the console ...
The first generation of PS3’s that launched in Japan and America contained hardware from the PS2 that allowed for the majority of PS2 games to work. This link at the time shows only a few games that had problems.

The PS3 launched in the EU with the PS2 chip removed, but over 1,000 PS2 games still worked under emulation. I know as my PS3 is a launc...
This article with only 39 comments now has over 1000° and on the front page, sorry I just had to click on this link and make it 1050°. Thats a lot of people looking at this article but failing to make a comment. As you said, the male of the species are so predictable, and I'm one of em, oh crap I fell into the same trap.
Everything I’ve read on this up to now seems to be quite positive. The only slight criticism I’ve heard in a preview was the player acting as a marine / predator being able to foot stomp an aliens head. They’ve acid for blood so your boot and foot wouldn’t last too long, but then some things within the alien film rules like alien acid blood melting through the deck of ships perhaps need to be bent a little to allow a more acceptable gaming environment to exist within the confines of a FPS gam...
You said yourself that Forza 3 sold well considering the install base. The 360 has an install base of approximately 1.2m in Japan. Forza 3 sold 32k in 3 days or 10.6k average for each of those days. The PS3 has an install base of nearly 3.8m in Japan, and Uncharted 2 sold 54k in 2 days or 27k each day. So doesn’t that argument about selling well to the install base apply to both games?
Given the petrol heads the Japanese are though, to use your phrasing, wouldn’t this logically l...
Uncharted 2 released in Japan on the 16 October, reaching number 5 in the Media Create software sales (10/12 – 10/18), selling 54k in just 2 days.

Uncharted 2 was still there in its second week (10/19 – 10/25) at number 9. Which is pretty good for a western shooter in Japan, selling 72k after just 9 days on sale.
Forza 3 launched in Japan on the 22 Octobe...
I got the game late on Wednesday night here in the UK (its nice to have a friend who’s a manager of a game store, and so got it 2 days early). I’ve got to level 6 now on hard mode and up to now, Uncharted 1 has been my favourite game this generation. I played it 7 times, and the last two occasions, after I got a platinum trophy.
But this sequel is proving better in every aspect. It’s an unbelievable gaming experience that draws you in, probably more so than the best movies do. Wh...
Ok, first off, my wording of stagnant was the wrong choice, I should of worded it “average”. The end of year sales direct from each company are the only real trusted figures to use. It started with a 7.7m gap at the PS3 launch, see above explanation. Then at Microsoft’s CES keynote speech on 6 January 2008, the gap had increased to 8.5m, as Sony’s PS3 was at approx. 9.2m units at this point in time.
Sorry, but your wrong, but then so is N4G king. Your approximately 3.7m out. Your 6m precise figure argument to N4G king isn't so precise.
The 360 at the launch of the PS3 was closer to 7.7m units, not 10m as N4G King is stating, and certainly not 4m as your stating. Where the hell did you get that figure.
The PS3 launched in Japan and America on 11 Nov and 17 Nov 2006 respectively.
Please, take a look at the link below for Bill Gates speech at the 2007 ...
All the firmwares in the past for the PSP required somewhere in the realm of 75% and above battery power before you could install without being plugged in to the mains. Sony have obviously adjusted the battery power parameters required to a lower threshold (at a guess 30-40%), knowing that it would be sufficient to install a new firmware with no risk to the PSP switching off halfway through. If your power is too low, I’m sure Sony have worked this out and your PSP will ask to be charged furth...
Thanks, I try to be unbiased.
Being a PS3 owner, perhaps it’s exclusives in “my opinion” have the slight edge graphically. But there are 360 games that come close, so as you’ve already said, theres not a big enough leap in graphics to declare a winner just yet. I’m sure there’s a developer with an unannounced title for the 360 that will equal the PS3 exclusives so far released. With each year that passes, games on either console will see graphical improvements as game engines ...
Why disagree...?
1.You say “Sony fans are the absolute diabolical fans out there there is so much proof of their stupidity”.
2. You also say “Xbox 360 proves itself to be a far better games system but will a Sony fan sit down and actually give reasons to why they prefer the PS3 without fanboyish remarks? No
3. Those two comments have nothing to do with this article, your off topic using this article as a soapbox for your anti-sony / ps3 / sony fan put do...
Most views posted here have been to the subject in question, the sales of Batman AA selling well on both consoles, but as expected because of install base in the UK, it sells slightly more on the 360, most here don’t find this that surprising.
But we have one individual here deciding to use this as a soapbox to air his views on Sony fanboys, but ends up putting his own foot in his mouth by doing so, showing his own fanboy attitude, in regard to his views on the 360 being better. ...
To answer your question.
GfK reported as of July 2009 that the install base for the 360 in the UK was at 3.9m, the PS3 was at 2.2m
