You stated the global launch years of each of Sony’s consoles but didn’t check any further before making your comment above? For instance, checking the end of a products manufacture and sale (try using google). Or the simple task of checking the calendar on your desk and then applying some basic math.

When sales are discussed, it’s nearly always mentioned by someone that the UK is where the 360 sells the best within Europe in relation to the PS3. But it’s interesting to note that these figures show the two HD consoles of this generation are selling at an equal rate here in good old blighty.

I agree whole heartedly with you, the Edge score for Killzone 2 was wrong, any game scoring an Edge 7 will now will seem inconsistent when compared to it. Thats because, in yours, mine and many other peoples opinion, Killzone 2 was deserving of at least an 8, a 9 or even a 10/10. But its just a number, and that number on its own tells you nothing about the game, only the written review does that.

they are really harsh at times. I’ve subscribed to them since about issue 16 and about 95% of the time they’ve got their scores, at least based upon my own opinion, pretty much spot on. But they get the odd game review score wrong, or should that be their opinion differs to mine from time to time. LBP is an absolute must buy, no matter what your age. There's something about it that even though it has cute graphics and might look like just a kids game, is one of the best platform games, probably ever. With its construction tools, it offers almost endless variation and enjoyment. I can see now that i've got it and tried it (must spend more time on it, MS2 some other games released before it came out, have taken up a lot of my time), why it has all the high scores and a multitude of 10's....

I only played about five, maybe six hours of it. I had this game on the day of its release, and I only got to the second island. But after just those few hours, i've not played it since.
Maybe with this patch it might be time to go back and revisit liberty city. Perhaps some trophy rewards might keep me interested for a bit longer.

The 360 more than likely has outsold the PS3 this month, Sony shouldn't have announced the new SKU so early, people are most likely waiting, hence sales dropped this month. However, for either console to sell 200-300k in a summer month when its the quietest time of year for console sales, isn't bad going. But VGCharts are predicting the 360 selling 130k units more than the PS3, whereas NPD are saying it will be closer to about 50k:
