I also think JJ Abrams is a mediocre director who relied on nostalga. Some leaks already hint to Abraham’s copying Return of the Jedi to close the sequel trilogy.
The franchise was going to be trouble once Disney bought it. Someone at Disney had the brilliant idea to release annual Star Wars films without a long-term plan. Plus, Disney started a new trilogy of films without set story objectives and even directors. Plus the game license is exclusive to EA....
According to the Red Dead 2 outsold BLOPs 4 this year, but it couldn’t outsell WWII and BLOPs 4 combined .
The series does not need saving. Metroid was never a huge selling franchise, it has always been niche and never got the super high sales of Nintendo's Mario, Smash and Zelda titles. Infrequent releases of the Metroid titles is nearly the norm for the series.
If Bethesda is taking a jab at Ubisoft for reusing assists they’re being hypocrites as they released a critically panned copy-paste just a few months ago.
The motion controls in the Wii version of the Prime triology where arguably smoother than the original GC controllers. However, I still don’t think the controls of the prime trilogy where comparable to non-motion controlled shooters at the time. Plus the wii controllers for the prime game gave me motion sickness.
You don't need insider information to know what is being presented here. Nintendo, formally announced that Metroid Prime 4 is undergoing a development reboot.
As much I have been critical of Nintendo in the past they don’t rush games. Nintendo has some of the best quality standards of any game company.
@myself
correction- There is plenty of indication that the player-base, sales and player retention of the game aren’t living up to expectations.
There is plenty of indication that the player-base, sales and player retention of the game are living up to expectations. For example on the most played XB1 games in the US, BFV never seem to have made it into the top 10. On the other hand, BF1 held a number 1 spot for a month.
I have played on private servers on Battlefield 4 (xb1) and it was not uncommon for matches to feel suspicious.
If Doom Eternal doesn’t release by summer of this year you’re probably right.
Metro Exodus, Gears 5, and Doom Eternal!
@Gantarat you are correct.
The writers of the animated clone wars series planned to canonize characters, species and events from KOTOR. A Selkath appeared in one clone wars episode as a bounty hunter and Revan had a deleted scene. The Clone Wars didn’t get to meet all of its story and events objectives due to Disney cancelling it.
I think if The Coalition is working on another IP the game in question maybe Perfect Dark. I wonder if Gears 4 & 5 are meant to be a triology or only a two part story.
The Big Daddy is not a character....
I'm surprised Gordon Freeman didn't make the list.
I don't own, play or plan on buying Fallout 76, however, I know enough about to game to understand that not about the game or its post launch support is admirable.
Dark Souls 2 is good game however it has its shortcomings:
1. Cheap bosses
2. Excessive hordes of enemies
3. Many of the bosses are too easy or are not too well designed.
4. Dated visuals (all versions) & performance issues.
Of the new Star Wars films I only genuinely liked Rogue One, mainly for it action, the characters could have been better, but it fit in well to the existing story. Solo was decent, but I think it would have been better film if it had only new characters. I don’t care for the Force Awakens, The Last Jedi or the new Star Wars games, in fact Battlefront 2 (2017) is the only game I have ever got a refund for.
