Because currently the fade is that being female (or even thinking you are female) makes you special.
Gaming engines can work across multiple genres.
Creating a new engine would cost time and money. It very obvious Bethesda likes to make big games on as low as budget as possible. Since it has been implied that Starfield will use the Creation engine, so we can expect it to have trademark technology issues of many other Bethesda titles.
I don't think the current issues associated with the Frostbite Engine are due to it being solely built for Battlefield. I think the Frostbite Engine has underlying issues that are worsened when it is used for non-battlefield games. Frostbite games seem to have long load times, animation issues, and general bugginess. Also, Battlefield 1 and Battlefront 2 (2017) have some of the worst AI I have ever this gen. Also EA appears to have rushed out some Frostbite games without giving studios t...
I wonder if the Slipspace Engine will be used non-Halo titles ?
As beautiful as Halo 4 looked on the 360, the game particularity in split-screen would struggle (just like its older brother Halo:Reach).
@AngelicleDiamond I agree. I skipped Battlefront (2015) because its beta was boring and it lacked content. Additionally, Battlefront 2 (2017) is the only game I have ever refunded, despite paying only $13 Canadian Dollars for it.
Star Wars Republic Commando and Metal Gear Rising Revengance are great games in my opinion.
Toxic masculinity seems to be nothing more than “catch all” term thrown around by SJWs to demean males. If there is such a thing as “toxic masculinity” its counterpart “toxic femininity” must also exist. How do the games Gears of War, Uncharted and God of War breed toxic masculinity? Also, there playable female characters in Gears and Uncharted. Gears 5 will have female lead and Uncharted: The Lost Legagcy was also female lead.
Microsoft has a very odd problem. 343i, The Coalition and Turn 10, lack creative freedom. even though evidence points to these studios having less strict development schedules than they did a few years ago. Despite a lack of creative freedom, the AAA games 343i, The Coalition and Turn 10 produced have been generally well reviewed and successful. Conversely, Rare has creative freedom and they have released a very mixed bag of titles, especially from 08 onward. Also, 2nd parties (outside of for...
I think the problem is that Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2 and especially Crackdown 3 didn’t have well managed development. All three games had delays (Crackdown 3 had several), yet they reviewed significantly worse than other MS 1st and 2nd party titles, so many the problem is quality of developers.
The single payer of RDR 2 is already 50 + hrs, so no the game doesn’t need single player DLC.
I wouldn’t call John a “goody two shoe” .
I don’t believe EA would shut down the studios that make up BioWare. However, I do believe BioWare could be downsized.
The financial success of games is based on how well they perform in relation to their budget. Anthem started development in 2012 after Mass Effect 3 was released so its budget is likely fairly steep. I don’t see Anthem doing well long term due to reviews and it having a large number of competitors.
Hopefully Bioware can get back to making quality singleplayer RPGs, assuming EA doesn't bring down the axe.
It would be more plausible for MC to join the cast of killer instincts.
There probably isn't going to be a a 4th Crackdown game.
Considering Halo Infinite has been in development since 2015 and God of War [4] came out just last year. I don’t see how the later game could be huge influence for Halo Infinite design. God of War [4], resembled other action adventure with RPG elements. Halo Infinite, if it does feature RPG elements could take some influence from games like Far Cry, Metro, Deus Ex, System Shock, Metroid Prime and Bioshock, first person games action-adventure games that are more comparable to Halo than God of ...
Ross pretty much states that woman aren't as interested in computer science as men. I think her statements were pretty fair, but, Ross never directly states that she "wants to close the gender gap in game development".
