I personally enjoyed the campaigns of Killzone 2 & 3. I personally don’t like the ISA characters due to their voice acting and I very strongly dislike the character of Rico. As I didn’t enjoy shadowfall too much and found it too be a step back from 2 &3. If their is another Killzone game, I would perfer playing the campaign from the Helghast perspective.
I would think both parties are at fault.
Activision probably didn’t want to keep funding an IP they didn’t own. Also, Destiny 2 probably didn’t fully meet finiacial expectations.
I wouldn't consider Jak 2 one of the worst games I ever played since I did finish it, mainly due to me liking the game's story. However, I don't consider Jak 2 to be a particularly good game.
I solo’d Gears 4 on insane, the hardest part for me was the Swarmac Boss.
The lava surfing Level in both versions of Conker.
Nameless King (DS3)
Ancient Dragon (DS2)
Ebrietas (Bloodborne)
Jak 2 (most of the game)
I found Jak 2 to be unnecessarily hard. Personally, I wasn’t too fond of the game.
What about BF V’s bad marketing and terrible PR? The beta for BF V was pretty weak also. The game launched with a lack of content and some called it buggy. EA promoted the games inclusive of a Battle Royale mode that still not released. I highly doubt the BF V’s mediocre, history warping campaign was the main cause of it underperforming.
Inside Xbox would should be called “Inside Game Pass” it’s nothing more than a giant advert for game pass. I would watch inside Xbox more if it included more teasers and actual insight into MS first party (e.g. dev diaries)
I have played both Rise of Tomb Raider and Tomb Raider (2013), I think they are great games, but biggest issue with the games however is the story.
I am concerned for Respawn’s future, if their Star Wars game doesn’t do well I think they will be in trouble. Apex Legends to me looks like a low risk release (with a potentially big reward) type of title that EA would commission over Titanfall 3.
I put significantly less hours into Titanfall 2 than I did the first game. Titanfall 2 felt less balanced than its predecessor and had more noticeable skill gap comparison.
Game length and game quality in my opinion aren’t necessarily strongly correlated. For example, I think Prey(2017) and Deus Ex :Mankind Divided are both 7.5 to 8/10 immersive sims. I beat both of the previously mentioned immmersive sims in 20-25 hrs . However, Prey felt a little drawn out. Conversely , I wanted Mankind Divided to be 5-10 hrs longer. Sometimes I would rather play a great 8-10 hrs game than good 20 hr game.
I would like to see some Action-Adventure and 3D platformers from MS first party, plus the return of some old IPs.
Dlala Studios is the main developer of Battetoads (2019), Rare is still involved in the game though.
I don't see the point of this article; but if the character in question was female the SJWs would be triggered.
The Metro series has never been a huge seller, the games are good but not very popular. Far Cry is the highest selling game series that you mentioned .Anthem is unproven and I have a feeling it will “fail to meet EA’s exceptions”.
I very rarely fail to finish games I buy, but it seems most players not finishing the games they buy is the norm.
I think is about time Steam got competition as the platform has dominated PC game distribution for over a decade. Also I want Valve to go back to being a AAA developer....then again Epic also stepped away from AAA development...
The game was already on the PS4 before MS bought Ninja Theory. I think Hellblade will be a franchise with only one entry and Ninja Theory will be an Xbox/ Windows studio going forward.
