Why do these articles keep showing up?
Both Sony and Xbox’s will have native backwards compatibility with current gen games. The message, especially from MS, is “ this gen is over, get better performance, your old games and some new titles in winter 2020...”
I would have dropped the most of the indies from the show and moved them to Inside Xbox. MS should be teasing next gen titles. A few simple teasers of new AAA exclusives would have made the show much better. The horde of indies is not what people buy consoles for.
I’ve been a Halo fan since 2001 and I didn’t like that trailer. It introduces some random nobody and has the chief show up as a background character.
Apparently Gears 5 will have a gameplay stream today or tomorrow. Halo Infinite had no gameplay, and new trailer was lame, it’s like 343i is going to rely on nostalgia. My lesson learned is to never believe rumours and “leaks”. We keep hearing that MS is investing into a greater variety of first party games, yet they keep showing the same series and games over-and-over again.
The Xbox presser last year was better than this year’s. Xbox E3 2019 was disappointing. It was almost a replay of last year’s show, plus no interesting new AAA exclusives were announced, I was very disappointed by the show.
Entertaining, yet very disappointing at the same time.
I fear that Jedi Fallen Order has had a much shorter than expected dev-time. What was shown of Fallen Order didn’t look bad, the presented gameplay just didn’t have much of a “wow-factor” .
you mean Sega ?
Sony never owned either Crash or Spyro.
Cuphead is not a MS game, they don’t own the IP or publishing rights.
I don’t think MS would actually license their ip for smash bros.
Since when did COD need saving? Game journalism seems to need saving though, or maybe it’s too far gone.
In my opinion The New Colossus to had worse gameplay than the New Order and Old Blood. I beat both the New Order and Old Blood on Uber, yet I found many of the levels in the New Colossus to be frustratingly hard on Terror Billy difficulty due to what seemed like trial and error gameplay.
I personally felt the level design in the New Colossus was poor with cheaply placed enemies, and alarms that cause enemies to spawn in from impossible sources. Overall, I believe Machine G...
I don’t think Wolfenstein Young Blood will do too well. Wolfenstein: The New Colossus Was stated to have underperformed and the fan reception of the game was mixed.
I completely forgot about Undead Labs and Compulsion Games. Maybe the two studios will have something to show at E3.
14 titles means there will likely be a lot of teasers for next gen. I assume spencer is either referring to games published by Xbox Games studios or developed by Microsoft owned developers. The first party games I assume (or I’m confident) to be shown would be:
1. Halo Infinite (343i)
2. Gears 5 (The Coalition)
3. Gears Tactics (The Coalition)
4. Sea of Thieves expansion (Rare)
5. Minecraft Expansion (Mohang)-Multiplatform release

My all-time favourite female game character is Sarah Kerrigan.
I wouldn’t blame Microsoft for Rare’s downfall, Rare was started to show a decline as soon as the PS2, Xbox and GC console era started. Rare in my opinion was studio that was struggling to adapt to quickly changing gaming landscape. Rare continued to use small development teams for their projects, despite the AAA industry shifting towards development teams of 100-200 people. Perfect Dark Zero was made by only 25 people. Halo 2, Doom 3 and Half-Life 2 for example had much larger dev teams than...
I don’t understand why Coalition don’t just sell Xbox-related guest character packs to use in mp.
