It would make sense for humans not to be native to Sera. A shared universe could be possible, despite the two series having independent origins.
Then it’s odd Ori and the Blind Forest was brought to Switch? Unlike Cuphead and Super Lucky’s Tale, Ori is MS owned. It almost like the Switch release of Ori is being done to market the sequel.
The Switch probably couldn’t properly emulate the 360 titles in Rare Replay.
Cuphead is not owned by MS. Ori is MS owned, and its release on Switch, looking at the timing seems almost like marketing for Ori an the Will of the Wisps.
Joanna Dark, Sergeant Johnson & The Crackdown Agent would make good guest characters for the COG Team. Swarm team could have characters such as Atriox, Tartarus, & The Diadact.
How is steam a platform? It’s a store.
Where the developers comments actually transphobic? Or was the developer actually looking at the discussed topic in a critical manner?
@darrhv72 the games I mentioned are owned by Sony.
Actually, Sony has been conservatively allowing some of their games to release on PC. Beyond Two Souls, Detroit Become Human and Journey are Sony owned but got recent PC ports.
The game is published by MS, and developed by an Xbox studio. Gears 5 is a first party game.
Microsoft is the owner and publisher of the Ori series. Microsoft Studios certainly has some say in how Ori is developed, even if they aren't directly involved in the game's development,
I actually made a comment years ago that Gears of War should have guest characters.
Microsoft owns the Ori Ip. However, MS doesn’t own Cuphead or Super Lucky Tales.
Ori and the Will of Wisps got delayed by a few months. Would you have preferred the game got rushed out ?
We live in a time where a person’s feelings are more important than scientific or easily observable facts.
Rare also started to decline during their final few years as a Nintendo 2nd party developer. Nintendo also had a falling out with Rare, as they weren’t pleased with the sales numbers of Jet Force Gemini , Perfect Dark, & Banjo Tooie and Star Fox Adventures. Nintendo also refused to publish and market Conker’s Bad Fur Day.
Ori and the Blind Forest sold well, got good reviews and strong fan reception, it was a no brainier for MS to do a sequel. However games like the following:
Sunset Overdrive, Ryse, Quantum Break & ReCore didn't or aren't getting sequels due to a mixture of under performing sales (Qunatum Break,Sunset Overdrive & Ryse), mediocre reception (Ryse & ReCore) , or MS not owning the ip (Sunset Overdrive and Ryse)
Anthem had a much larger budget than Fallout 76, so I would say Bioware's title boomed harder.
The character is a robot?....
I like the animation style. But the game looks like it should be faster. Also, people playing don’t seem to be that good...
