I think COD sales are going to drop significantly this year. It will still likely outsell every other title, but the sales will be down. I wonder what the budget of ReCore was? If the game was/is a lower budget AAA game it won't have to sell millions to make profit. I don't personally believe the title will launch in fall.

The late fall release seems a little dangerous for a new IP. MS would be better of releasing this game in the summer.
Funny thing is had QB been a PlayStation exclusive and got the same reception, the game would be praised more than mocked. Their is double standard that is strongly apparent in the game community. When Ryse came out people trashed it for it's reception and metascore. The Order 1886 got a similar reception to Ryse, criticized for being short, linear and repetitive, yet critics of the game were attacked and people claimed the game was 'smeared by the media'. The bias gets even worse...

Sorta of, except with better combat and rpg elements more comparable to what the Bioshock series offers.
Having a first person mp and third person single player would likely cause strong dichotomy between the two modes. I was thinking a new perfect dark should be first person, but third person when using stealth and cover. I can however see where going full third person would have advantages.

@Was thinking Joanna could acquire upgrades, by finding them in mission or acquiring them from the Carrington Institute . Certain upgrades would be irreversible, while others would be reversible.
I was thinking cybernetics and alien technology could be a big part of the game and your character could only handle a certain amount of modification to their body . This would force the player to choice what upgrades they want depending on their play style .
I want Perfect Dark to stick to it's FPS roots, but add in optional stealth and some rpg like elements. Customization could allow the player to approach missions in different manners, shot the place up, hack your way around, or sneak in and out without ever being noticed.
I wouldn't call Halo 5, Quantum Break, Ryse and Sunset overdrive failures. Driveclub had a terrible launch and Street Fighter 5 didn't perform or sell as well as it could due to it being content light .

If a player (or reviewer) is bad at game, a person my criticize the game for being poorly designed or unfairly hard. When it is actually the players lack of skill that is causing them to be more critical of the game they're playing.
