@Austin48 I wanted the mp to simple like Uncharted 2's. I have never been to into the series' mp either. I wanted Uncharted 4's mp to be a game that I could relax and enjoy occasionally. However ithe mp is filled with gimmicks due to being overdesigned.
You're forgetting that most of the Gods Kratos killed are his relatives. Kratos also murdered a man for simply being in front of him,threw innocent people off ledges and committed genocide by deliberately sinking Atlantis. He also used a living woman to jam a lever (that latter crushed her).
Kratos also violently and sadiscastly kills his stronger enemies. After Poseidon was immobilized by his injuries, Kratos violently beat him, poked out his eyes, then snapped his neck....
My friend and I had a lengthy diccusion on GOW 4 story theories. One theory we came up with was that after Kratos 'scarified' himself at the end of GOW 3, he lost nearly all his power, and reverted to his base Demi-god state. Kratos was then rescued by a Norse god (we theorized as Loki). Loki would then manipulate Kratos, using him to elimnate the Norse pantheon.
I finished uncharted 4 great game. Uncharted 4's multiplayer, however,is full of gimmicks that break the flow and balance of the game. I shelved the game much quicker than I expected because of the mp.
Nintendo first party sales usually do well, with very high attach rates. However, the company's repeated stubbornness and gimmicks has lowered the performance of the hardware they put out. Nintendo would make an excellent multiplatform developer, but I think 3 consoles keeps the market more competitive.
I think a father son relationship with play a role in both games. However I think GOW 4 will focus on Kratos guiding and raising his son. Gears 4 will likely show a strained relationships between Marcus and James(JD), since it's stated that the latter ran away against his father's will.
It's the author's personal opinion; maybe he hasn't played the series or simply doesn't like it.

I think the Kickstarter campaign was to gauge interest in the project,.After interest was shown the unnamed financial backer (who I assume is MS(the IP owner)) funded Fable Fortune's development.
@EDMIX Max Payne was released 15 years ago, when games generally had production budgets under 10 million and dev teams were smaller. ReCore most likely doesn't have the 30-100 million dollar budget that big triple games have now, since it doesn't have a development team of 100-200 + people.
The $ 40 price tag could of just been due to the fact that game doesn't have a big budget. Armature has only 30 employees and the secondary developer Comcept is also small.
Edit: Armature has 50 employees, which is still small.
Xbox gamers only benefit if PC increases revenue sustainably and leads to more first party games. Having the first party games on PC probably increased the budgets of said titles, since PC requires more programming due to variable configurations.
MS is using games to promote Windows 10. Most hardcore PC gamers don't care about consoles. Also putting all first party games on PC may slightly cut down Xbox One sales, but could potentially generate more revenue per game.
Comcept isn't even the main dev of ReCore.

Seriously? If anything Battlefront was overly stripped down and simplified compared to Battlefield 4. Battlefront was criticized for lacking depth and strategy; if Battlefield 1 plays more like Battlefront than Battlefield 4, I'm staying
far away from it.

I don't even game on PC (aside from Starcraft 2 on my laptop). I simply don't let myself get blinded by hype and I also follow PC technology and read about chip performance.
Angry SJW and modern feminist are a joke. Woman were not part of infantry battalions during WW1. In-fact even today there are barely any female front-line soldiers. Woman for various physical reasons aren't as well suited to infantry roles as men.
