That is exactly what I think.
Well since MS owns the assets, we can hope that one day the game could be resurrected and finished.
Well I do firmly believe, that some titles get free passes, depending on who published and/or developed the title in question.
The load times of the game were patched and reduced. I played the 30 minute trial of ReCore. I found it fun, but it didn't convince me to purchase the title. One of my friends bought the game and currently enjoys it. I can't bring myself to accept why ReCore was built using the notorious Unity Engine. The Halo engine would of been better for the title, as it handles large environments well, and assets could of been stealthily reused, plus less (or no) licensing fees.
ReCore needed more time to 'cook' and should of been delayed by a few months. This would of allowed the game to launch with better performance and more polish . I would bet, if ReCore was delayed, the game would of gotten a metacritic average in the 70s and sold better.
2,4=3,1, haven't played Golden Abyss (never owned a vita).
I think Scalebound was canceled because Platinum wasn't investing enough resources into the title. Not to mention Platinum games getting Nier: Automata, Transformers: Devastation, Legend of Korra and TMN: Mutants in Manhattan finished before Scalebound, likely didn't bode too well with Microsoft.
The Wii was a fluke. Its success was largely due to the motion control gimmick that attracted casuals. The Wii U had its gimmicks and tanked, the Switch has a good chance of doing the same.
Battleborn flopping was just well deserved bad karma on Gearbox, for apparently embezzling Sega's money and false advertising Aliens: Colonial Marines.
Reggie looks like a gangster, corrupt business men or serial killer in the thumbnail........
On topic: Nintendo first party is nearly always strong, an exception would be the latter years of the Wii U life cycle.
I'm surprised MechWarrior online was not ported to XB1.
I don't see anything wrong with this acquisition. Scalebound was most likely canceled because it wasn't progressing well, even after 4 years of development and numerous delays. As much as I like Platnium games, the studio finishing so many other titles before Scalebound, strongly implies a lack of resources and staff being invested into the title.
While MS should be investing into more 1st party studios, such investments are likely much more time consuming and expe...
It was stated multiple times that the Scorpio is to share software with XB1, and is not a replacement for it. Scorpio is a premium console, that is to sit alongside the base model.
This is just like the Havok software acquisition. Simplygon was acquired to make money of off software licensing, and decrease the cost of 1st party development.
MS does bring new IPs, but none of them have performed as well as Gears, Halo, or Forza.
How many eyes does this "dog" have?
Mostly likely false for the following reasons:
1. All mainline Halo games have had a 3 year dev cycle. Halo 5 isn't even 2 years old.
2. The Scorpio will not have launch titles, as it is not a replacement for the XB1, but rather part of the same family .
3. I don't think MS would launch two AAA Halo games in one year.
4. Halo 6 hasn't had an official reveal yet. Mainline Halo games have usually launched 1 year after their official reve...
"Bioware: Mass Effect Andromeda on Xbox Scorpio a likely possibility"
Absolutele clickbait title, the Scorpio and XB1 are to have the same games . This was stated multiple times by Phil Spencer, and other executives.
I think 3 titles would be more plausible, hopefully with a better show, than last year's hardware centric mess.
Or maybe the contracted dev, Platinum, didn't focus enough on the project and simply weren't meeting Microsoft's expectations, even after the delays.
