343i does have two teams. The studio's B team, worked on MCC, Spartan Assault, Spartan Strike, and Halo Wars 2.
I think Halo 6, has been given an extra year of dev time.
Lawbreakers isn't an arena shooter.
There has to be at least (hopefully), 2 additional exclusives for fall 2018. Then again, one is likely Halo 6 or FH4.
343i did seem to decrease the low frame animations in slayer. But they still are noticeable in Warzone. I think the low frame animations are more noticeable in Halo, than in other games that run at 30 fps.
Destiny appears to not use the Halo engine ( https://www.videogamer.com/... The 343i Halo games use modified (and enhanced) "Halo Reach engines".
I think Destiny, doesn't use CPU as efficiently as other shooters. The lack of dedicated servers doesn't help, as it increases CPU load on the console. Plus, there is no indication, as of yet, of Destiny 2 using dynamic resolution.
All of the games stage demos of Scalebound, were very sub-par, poor framerates, despite all the delays.

This new studio, will have a good template to work with, and build off of. Hopefully, they can capture the mystery of Prime 1, the dark atmosphere of Echoes, and the action of Corruption. Best of luck to this new team of developers.

Xbox was at its peak from 2001 to 2010, by providing good games, diverse games, strong online and solid hardware.Games were released at steady rate.
Spencer seems to have no interest in building up other IPs. The only big budget games that he has appeared to commission, were Gears of War 4 and UE (UE is sorta of AA), which are solid games, but were predictable releases.

By something new Phil likely just means Halo 6 and Gears 5 lol. Unless he has given the studios creative freedom. By enlarging The Coalition and allowing the 343i B team to do something else.
You spoke to Phil Spencer. I personally wouldn't believe most of what he states. He hasn't delivered on the IPs and games like to tease and gloat about. It's been 3 years.
Yet Phil Spencer, has shown no evidence that Xbox is producing titles of comparable production quality to Halo and Gears, since Quantum Break.
It would be cool if Microsoft, produced XB1s that looked like original XBs.
