I find it extremely odd that Dice won't just make "Battlefield Star Wars". People want classes similar to those of Battlefield and Pandemic Battlefront, Dice goes and adds classes that have no synergy. People want more vehicles and teamplay. Dice makes vehicles cards. The studio pushes for the game to have no teamplay, no resource management and no map control, things that people very vocally want.
I am still shocked the studio sold for so much.
It is not to difficult to have the best story in years for a star wars game. No star wars game in recent years, has had an original story.
I will wait to see who else sources this story other than Kotaku. 400 million for Respawn, a company of only 160 people, and only one IP, sounds a bit ridiculous.

The Switch version only has an advantage over the other versions of Doom is that it is portable. The XB1, PS4 and PC, offer a better performaning, cleaner looking and much cheaper version of the game.
The game had a 24hr-peak on Steam of 43 players.... Lawbreakers is dead.
Often those companies would sell their " remasters" for $60.
These character models have stacked up very well for being 6 years old. Epic were technical wizards when they developed AAA games.
That would make perfect sense.

Halo 5 running on Xbox One X, even when unpatched for it, was shown to have increased draw distance, decreased pop in, decreased or absent resolution scaling and increased texture filtering.
I personally consider Crysis 3 to the best looking 7th gen console game. In noway did Gear of War 1 max out the 360, its own sequels had more advanced lighting and shaders.
Gears of War 1 in no way maxed out the 360, the game was big step up from Perfect Dark Zero and Call of Duty 2 though. Gears of War 3, Halo 4 and especially Crisis 3 looked much better than Gears 1. I expect games to look better year after year on PS4/XB1. However, I don't think we will see a Perfect Dark Zero to Halo 4 or Resistance:Fall of a Man to Last of Us disparity in graphics from early gen to late gen. .

Activision blocked access to the campaign behind a patch (Correct me if I am wrong). I find the blocking of the campaign before launch to be very odd, considering COD in the past always got early reviews. As for your other comment. The Call of Duty campaigns have always been about 6 hrs. I could blast through a COD campaign in 4 hrs on normal, and maybe 6-7 hrs, If I did my first play through on hardened.
What is with the review embargo on this game? I don’t recall any prior COD having a similar embargo to this one.
Fox owns a film license for Deadpool, C-Men and Fantastic Four, however, it is Disney (via Marvel) that owns the IPs. Disney is rumoured to be buying much of Fox’s film studios and IPs.
