The Order 1886 had far too high of a budget to be priced at $29.99. The majority of games that are priced at $60, cost as much as they do because of production budgets.
You want to level up?
EA be like http://s176.photobucket.com...
Epic took 6 years to make Fortnite, comparatively they made the higher production quality Gears of War 2 and 3 in 5 years. Epic made Fortnite at leisure. As for Unreal Tournament, the company didn’t put effort into the newest one and let the project essentially die.
EA owns Jade Empire
I think armour should be unlocked separately from req weapons and power ups.
The current Alien Canon is mess due to Ridley Scott's poor story telling and lack of continuity between Prometheus, Alien Covenant and Alien/Aliens.
I think licensing would be a likely factor. It appears Sega no longer has the Alien license, and the franchise as a whole is being bought by Disney, as the behemoth company is purchasing most of Fox's assets and IPs.
I wish we got a follow up to Alien Isolation that was similar to the Metro games. My hypothetical game would have more enemies than Isolation, but it would still maintain an emphasis on stealth, exploration, and resource management
GTA V 6th best selling game of 2017 in the US, the game has insane legs.
I never buy MTs. I don’t have a problem with MTs either, as long as they don’t unbalanced the game or cause pay-to-win mechanics. However, I very firmly dislike the RNG associated with MTs.
Yet Halo still sells well and has a viable healthy player base online. The only other 15 + year old FPS franchises that have managed to hold large player bases on consoles are COD and Battlefield. COD, Halo and Battlefield aren’t as dominant as they used to be, but they are still around. While dozens of other FPS franchises died off.
I can see why Overwatch is popular. However, personally, I consider the game to have too little content for its price. Also I find the combat to be very dull.
I think the best levels in Halo:CE are The Silent Cartographer, Halo and The Maw. Halo helped pave the way for broader levels in console FPSs.
Good service for gamers on a strict budget. However, game pass doesn’t really seem to be aimed at hardcore gamers.
Microsoft made back the cost of acquiring Minecraft in only 2 years. The profits from Minercaft can help MS fund games, also they acquired a developer in Mojang. But I myself, haven’t seen this increase first party development investments as of yet, however things take time. Also, I don’t think buying successful IPs will help MS build their first party as much as creating new studios and 2nd party partnerships would.
MS probably won't try to outright buy PUBG, the game already has publishing deals with Tencent (a massive company). I am not sure if MS has to gamble with new IPs to create new projects.Microsoft has a large vault of IPs that they can use for future projects, hence the rumored Perfect Dark and Fable reboots/ new entries.
Acquiring PUBG and Bluehole would likely cost 100s of millions. Money that maybe better spent on more experienced studios, forming new studios, and funding other owned projects.
I don't care for PUBG either. I think the game's success,is due to lack of competition in the battleroyale landscape, and not its actual quality.
Backwards compatibility is a great feature to have. But we should be pushing Spencer to live up to his claims and promises.
The Totaku toyline already included non-Sony characters such as Heihachi and Crash.
