My thoughts exactly. Mass Effect 2 and also Dead Space 2 a week later must have had an effect on LBP2 sales.
This game is brilliant. I suggest all ps3 owners who have any interest in puzzle games check it out.
Nice. Music is ever so important when it comes to horror/survival games.
Hell ****ing yes, I can see this working great with 3D and touch controls. **** yes.
@smoothdude
yeah it sure is amazing how big flash memory is. Still, discs are a hell of a lot cheaper to manufacture.
A 64GB SD card costs anywhere between $150-350. A 32GB micro SD costs about $100. A blu-ray disc? About a buck.
Quad-layered BD are not too far off and supposedly 1TB BD is not unfathomable. So as amazing as flash memory is, disc-formats will, for the forseeable future, be able to hold impressive amounts of data at a fracti...
What is there to regret? It will sell millions upon millions at that price point. This is something very new and attractive to both hardcore and mainstream crowds; many people will shell out whatever price just becausethey want the latest and greatest of impressive gadgetry.
When all the early adopters have their systems and sales start to slow down noticeably, BAM, price-drop, and millions upon millions more will sell for the late adopters waiting for a cheaper entry price....
Sorry, I should have specified plasmids and tonics. Tonics covered a lot of extra stuff that were passive abilities.
Bioshock had 53 plasmids iirc. So deus ex is trying to one-up bioshock?
Wii costs $199 now.
Anyone who thought 3DS would be $300 underestimates Nintendo's ability to gauge the market. This thing will sell like hotcakes, and when it starts to slow down, a price drop to $200 will keep it selling for all you laggards.
Day one.
Yeah, great scores for VC3. I'm shocked no one else has commented about it.
Last Story looks great though, finally a JRPG that isn't for DS that I actually want to play.
I'm more looking forward to KZ3, Bulletstorm, and Rage. And maybe Resistance 3. I don't care much for the multiplayer components of shooters. Just give me a solid campaign and that's plenty for me.
Brink does look like a jolly good time for those who enjoy multiplayer, though.
Yeah, you're right.
I've seen it for $15 but normal price is $20.
Still, the iPhone version is only 2.99.
So far the reviews I've seen: 2/10 and 4/10
looks like a winner!
Good review, basically nails all the important parts.
Pros: More content than any other version, including a multiplayer mode and 4 DS exclusive modes
Cons: Graphics take a noticeable hit, though it doesn't really dull the experience much.
The only thing the reviewer left out is price. It's a $20 game, which is a fine entry price for a DS game, but a great deal more than you would expect to pay for the iPhone or PC versions. Which i...
Well I'm counting PSN games which accounts for just over half of those. And I buy a large majority of my games used. If I don't get them day 1 then I wait for them to drop to $30 or less.
Can't wait for Shooter 2.
PixelJunk rules.
@ Pixel_Enemy
Why get rid of them? They still have some great games coming out for both.
DS and PSP came out about the same time, late 2004, so they have both been around for just over 6 years.
I agree they were both amazing handhelds. I fully expect the same from the next generation of them.
Do I need them? No. Want? Hell yes.
PS3 reviewers hold games to higher standards?
I mean, I guess ME2 on Xbox is a 9.5, graphically, but on PS3, home of omgraphix, it's only a 9. Hmm?
Do we actually need video games?
Stupid.
