Dear lord PC gamers are a load of whiny little bitches.
First they complain they don't have the game on their platform.
Then the complain that it's not coming with higher resolutions, etc., and doesn't take full advantage of their rig.
Now they're whining that the game might still suffer some frame rate issues.
I'd rather From Software spent their time and money on developing more content for console Dark ...
oh, and if Diablo 3 was ported to the consoles it would have offline mode from day one.
Not trolling, mate, just stating a fact. Devs get better returns on consoles than on PC these days, due to the vast amount of piracy.
The simple fact is that the console versions pull in my revenue. The lead platform for Battlefield 3 was the PC, yet the consoles versions outsold it. Fact.
The same is true of a number of other console / PC games.
It's simply not worth the investment, which is why a recompile and straight port makes more f...
It would seem that Namco Bandai would rather spend the minimum they can on the port, since they know it will likely be pirated to death. The PC version is likely just a compile of the Xbox 360 version, with various tweaks thrown in, which is why it is 720p at 30fps.
That's also likely why the consoles are now getting the PC's additional content as DLC this winter, so that the company can make the money back.
I was never that bothered by DMC, myself. I always felt that God of War did a far, far better job with similar gameplay elements.
One word - Heat.
Has anyone seen how hot the new iPad gets when running Infinity Blade? I'm not sure how hard that game is pushing the system, but running at over 45c for 3 or 4 hours probably wouldn't be good for it.
Great to see a true remake of such a classic, instead of turning it into a stale, boring first person shooter.
Now, if only someone would take notice and do the same for Syndicate...
Wow, this basically sounds like they decided to make banal a sci-fi shooter, and write "Syndicate" on it to make it sell.
Possible candidate for most disappointing game of 2012 already? I think so.
Maybe if gamers make enough noise a studio will come up with a true remake, ala X-COM.
"Upholding the spirit of the original is vital"
So why the hell is it a first person shooter and not a 3rd person open world game?!!
Awesome! I hope they come up with a genre-busting, original and innovative game, that is true to the spirit of the 1990s franchise, while at the same time challenging and defining new gameplay ideals to create a true AAA experience.
Unfortunately, I fear they may just plump to turning it into a generic, stilted first person sho... Oh, wait, they have.
"would be 'really cheesy to revive him' as a major boss in the game"
*Not* if you did it properly. If he just showed up as a major boss, shoehorned into the experience (as is often the case with things such as this), then that would be very crap and unworkable.
But bleed his presence into the game, making him a force to content with and it would work well.
As an aside: I'm always disappointed when the major characters ar...
Naaaaaaah!
I'll buy the game after it's been out for 6 or 9 months. That way, I get all the bug fixes, the DLC and everything else cheaper..! ;)
Snooooooooooooooore!
Personal experience of both systems:
Console: Buy game. Put disk in console. Install (optional). Download patches (optional). Recline on couch. Enjoy.
PC: Read requirements. Do I have the right setup to enjoy this game fully? Maybe. Buy game. Install (mandatory). Download patches (dependent on setup). Play. Crash. Restart. Crash. Check forums. Download patches for graphics driver. Install. Play game (hunched over monitor)...
In all fairness, you could read the Demon's Souls guide as much as you liked it and didn't really help that much...
So do lots of people. Try listening to more music.
Leona Lewis is the most overrated singer of today.
She is the absolute epitome of the sort of person who goes on X-Factor: more interested in the fame, attention and money, than the music.
Hopefully, her third album will flop worse than her second and we'll never hear from the greedy, self-absorbed little bitch ever again.
In fact, I'd almost go as far as to say that non-first party exclusives are sort of redundant now.
ugh... why? Have you not realised that exclusives only matter at the start of the generation, when people are on the fence over which console to buy in to..?
How is it gay?
Gay as in happy?
Or gay as in homosexual?
Or do you mean gay as in pathetic and rubbish?
Or maybe you mean gay as in a homosexual who is always very happy, despite the fact that he is pretty rubbish at everything that he applies himself to?
Hmm, this series is starting to become unrecognizable from the survival horror I experienced in the first game. Dead Space 1 was genuinely one of the most freaky and atmospheric games I had played in years.
I guess they ended up setting the bar too high. Oh well.
