Tommy Vercetti, for sure.
But where is Frank Tenpenny, the bent cop of San Andreas, voiced by Samuel Jackson? He was the guy I loved to hate!
I remember being blown away by the graphics of Ghosthunter and Primal. I think they were developed in England, to demonstrate what the PS2 was truly capable of. Worked for me.
I must be an exception to this rule, because I simply didn't like this game. Maybe it was the random loot, or the emptiness of the world, or the repetitive enemies, but I didn't get on with it at all.
Perhaps just doesn't work as a single player game, but I was bored after about 11 hours. I turned it off and sold it shortly after that. Is the appeal the multiplayer or did I just not "get it"?
Agreed. The difficulty is what makes the game stand out. Strip that away and ... well, you would still be left with a very good game, but it would be "missing something".
The beauty of Demon's Souls and Dark Souls is the fine line it treads between challenge and reward. Dark Souls was my favourite game of last year, because it pushed, challenged and tested me, and didn't let me auto-pilot my way through from start to finish.
I guess this say...
When are people going to realise that Trophies and Achievements really are nothing more than a persistent, fine-grained highscore system..?
Yep. Online trophies should not count towards the platinum, in my humble opinion.
Or perhaps next gen Sony could have online and single player platinums.
Looks like this game is already one of the most popular titles on TPB. What a shame for From.
Oh well, at least they'll make the money back from the console DLC.
PC gamers shouldn't be put off by the performance issues. If it is no worse than the console version, then they'll still find the game very playable.
Blighttown will be painful in places, but I'd suggest they do as the rest of us and just suck it up and plunge onward.
To dismiss a game such as Dark Souls because it's not fully optimised for your ninja PC setup would be to do yourself an injustice.
Bob Kane.
I would be inclined to agree, had I not seen Prometheus :(
I thought everyone knew [that bit of information that was revealed]. I thought that that was the entire beauty of the game.
I found it charming the whole time I was playing. You even get subtle onscreen alerts to it (the white glows at the left and right-hand edges).
Really? He didn't know?
My first fat broke a few years ago. Got a refurbished one from Sony. The fan in the refurb is so loud it's like a plane taking off. Will be getting a super slim as soon as I can, as I have to crank the TV volume up massively to hear stuff over the noise.
I always preferred Doom and Quake, myself.
Spot on!
He was when he was giving us Syndicate, Populous, Theme Park, Dungeon Keeper, and Theme Hospital.
Today, I'm not so sure.
Doom, Quake and Duke Nukem 3D are all on Google Play, as is ScummVM.
Unless you mean something else?
In all honesty, I would like the PS4 to support Android and have an online store for selling PS4-made Android apps.
It would result in tons of quality (maybe) Indie titles being made available, as well as the ability for people to create high quality PS1 and PS2 emulators, with all sorts of bells and whistles attached (full HD, anti-aliasing, texture filtering, etc,).
Okay, the PS1 + PS2 emulators are a bit of a pipe dream, but imagine having source ports of ...
I'm also wondering if that last sentence is a tad over confident... ;)
When it announced that the content will also be on the PS3, I dug the game out and have started playing through bits of it again. My, NG+ is good fun! It's quite satisfying to defeat some of the bosses on the first encounter, and very quickly at that.
But should I start over when the DLC drops? I'm not sure I just want to charge in with my lightning sword, clearing the way like I'm harvesting corn... :|
Hmm, odd.
I imagine because it's not emulated, and the team responsible decided to either reverse engineer the code (doubtful) or used the original arcade code and made tweaks.
