Cent for cent a MMO is a better investment than any form of entertainment. Which MMO is worth the investment is what people argue about and that really goes to the person’s taste. I think that DCUO is a very good game, something different, but I am on the SOE ALL Access so, it is worth it to me.
I enjoyed the ending in Mafia 2 because it built up the suspense for the third (at least was hoping). I have never cared for these types of games (GTA, Saints Row, etc), but this one is a exception for me. Had Steam not had that amazing sale on Mafia 2, would have never tried it.
There are very few games that I have played, where I didn't shut off the music in less that 5 minutes. 99% of the time, music is off.
The man is just saying that there is no reason to upgrade the current consoles because the consoles have enough power to last even longer than it has. The only thing needed is better software engineering. Eventually there will be a time in the future that hardware innovation will end. And after that is will be all software, period.
Down today also.
How much I spent last year on the Steam deals during Thanksgiving and Christmas, I can wait for this game to be a deal on Thanksgiving or Christmas this year.
Wait to get the game. Servers are down constanly and game is real laggy in popular spots. PVP is a mess. But the game is freaking fun even with the problems. But I recommend you wait to get it, another month.
I can careless about nudity. But the language and violence should be a concern........
It depends on what is being offered for the money spent. If I can get a guarantee of no cheating, free DLC and constant updates, plus depending on the price, then ok.
I agree that ME2 should be GOTY, awesome game.
Taking the family to the movies I could drop enough for all of a sub to a specific MMO. Griping about $14.99 is stupid if a person is going to play it, less that .50 cent a day.
Why? Why in the hell do people make this kind of crap? Unskilled freaking CUN^S....................
Capitalism is built on suckers. If everything was fair then there would have never been a housing bubble. Of course they are not going to tell the customers that there is a sub, it would cut the game down 50% purchased. If Sony was smart, they should release the game for free as a download and then charge a sub. Or charge for the game then make it free to play and charging for the extra junk.
I never understood the need to follow a standard in charging a monthly rate. Hell when EQ first released it was $9.99 and then went up accordingly. If I had been the devs of Champions I would have released free or $9.99 then gave options for different levels of fees. $5.00 a weekend or $7.00 for two weeks, etc.
Exactly why I won’t buy any of their games anymore. I bought NFS Underground and the servers were shutdown before I bought the game, I was pissed. Battlefield Bad Company 2, had I known the game didn’t have LAN and we had to rent servers I wouldn’t have bought it either. The newer games they are releasing, won’t be purchased unless it has lan or I can create my own servers.
My nephew is now a total PC gamer after being a die hard Xboxer. I had nothing to do with it, muhahahaha!
I agree. Let the game come out then complain.
I have to agree with the author. Fort Zombie is really , really bad, don't waste your money.
I agree I have several hundred games in my closet, just collecting dust. If they were digital I would play them if I could, some of them are from the DOS era on til 2006.
I agree with you, but I guess we will see shortly. Hope we are wrong.
