The author is a complete moron and I usually don't slam writers.
Duke Nukem sold a lot of games for it's time because the gaming population was small. Back when this game was new, it had on of the best multiplayer matches around, and it was a blast. Writers like this is why no one can take a joke anymore.........
This is one game I can wanting to see in action. I hope they are smart enough to release a demo for all systems.
What I thought also!
It is going to be good for all systems I am sure, but I am glad I am a PC gamer!
I disagree with Theo, I prefer Impulse's client than Gamersgate. I think Gamestop bought a very good client to go digital. However if they can't get the games/software to sell in the client, it doesn't matter........But it being Gamestop I am sure they are working on it..............
I am really wanting to get this game. But going to wait til the bugs get worked out. Kinda sucks since this is a Korea based game.........
Yeah, but for $9.99, what do you expect?
Why? I wish I could find out how many downloads this demo gets. I bet it isn't even close to what it would have been if the demo was released before the game.
Newflash: Tofu sucks! Why? Cause I don’t like it! But never mind the other people who love it!
The first thing that comes to mind for us PC gamers:
If a game has no LAN, Dedicated servers or a DRM of being online 24/7, it should be plainly stated for people who are going to buy the game. It is not like PC gamers can just bring the game back or get our money back for a crappy product. However I believe that PC gamers need to use their voice and WALLET. It is one thing to talk the talk, but we need to walk it also………….
In my opinion Steam, D2D, Impulse and Gamersgate are my on my DD list. I don’t care for Gamestop but if they give me the deals, then good. I do like the Impulse client and I have used them in the past. I wonder if Gamespot will put out a new terms and conditions?
Best damn review I have ever read.......it is opinionated and to the point...................
We'll See!
I have the SOE all access so I play all of their games. Vanguard I was the only person in the whole zone. EQ1 has some people, but the servers list is very small , EQ2 same. POTBS has only 2 servers one US and one EU, a good amount of people on both.
DC Universe has had a lot of people quit on the PC side, PS3 I have no clue. Star Wars Galaxies is about the same as Eq and EQ2, population dwindled and server consolidation.
The only reason I done the all access...
Played the 2600 when it was new, I don't miss it........
Old gamer here. I remember the 2600 and the C-64 vividly. However the reason I love gaming is that it is always changing. I do think the current generation gamer's gene pool needs a little chlorine :)
But I don't take my passion too seriously, but hopefully I can game when I am dead.......................
I paid $40-$50 for Intellivision games with my lawn mowing money. That was back in the early 80's.
Who is fastest is a secondary concern of mine. I have had alot more success with Nvidia than AMD in video cards. I have had more success with AMD CPUs than Intel, so that is what I buy. And I have never ever bought a brand new off the press video card. Currently I have 2 Nvidia 460s in SLI...............
Most games, no matter which platform, the story usually sucks. There are some good games out there with some awesome stories with out a doubt. But on average games made, the story does suck.
