On thing the author forgot to mention. Is the game fun or not? In the end that is all that matters...................
Wing Commander, X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter, Freelancer and X3 are my favorites. But I put more hours in X-wing vs Tie Fighter more than the rest combined.
Gimme, Gimme, Gimme, anything is better than nothing!
I hate to say it, I love my music. But the first thing that gets turned off in my games is the music.
Usually people with a negative opinion of video games are either older or have read too many bad press stories of video games.
However people in my generation (40s) started the video game era, most do not like video games. I was one of the few, whose parents bought them an Atari/Intellivision system, who usually have a positive opinion. The younger the generation the more likelihood that they will have a positive attitude about gaming. In Mike’s defense he has the age to not ...
Thanks for the information! However there is no reason to bitch about the game then, imo.
I can understand that there is only 1 story for 1 side in the campaign; I have no issue with this. However to my understanding that is players can only play one side in multiplayer, is this correct? Or can I chose the Protos or Zerg in multiplayer only?
Very good move by SOE. I have recently quit the game because I am paying way too much for MMOs ($60.00 a month). The only bad problem is that I don't think I can use my existing toons I have had since launch.
Beta tested MOH and it is very good. IMO a combination of BFBC2 and MW2. But until it is released, doesn’t matter. I find that both BFBC2 and MW2 are enjoyable as of right now and play both equally
On the site it says it is for all platforms, Mac included.
You need to remember that the retail stores give stats but digital download does not.

I guess I am between the Social/Independent core, depending on the day.
I wasn't impressed with the first one, however the game play in the video is good. I'll wait for the reviewers to do their job before I spend a dime.
I have never understood the need for split screen; I always disliked the split screen for any gaming. Hell I built 4 computers so we can play coop, lan and everyone can’t look at each other’s screens. And if I wasn’t a PC gamer I would have bought 4 of X (XBOX, PS3, Wii) to do the same thing. And this isn’t hard to do if you wait for the prices to drop.
But one thing the author forgot to add. Steam, D2d, Impulse and the rest have awesome deals that only PC gamers can get. Exa...
One of my favorite games, I think I have Magic Carpet 2 in my stash. If this was redone to play on today’s systems (PC especially), I would buy it without hesitation.
One of the best articles I have read here, too bad it is all true.
The MOH beta is fun, I like the game. Not going to say it is revolutionary. Haven’t had any problems with it on my PC. There are similarities between BF2BC2 and MW2, I would say it is a shooter that bridges both games into one. But judging the game on two multiplayer maps would be unwise, not matter which side of the fence you are on.
