...see, the problem arises with the vernacular of your question. Are you asking based on the caliber of what a AAA should possess, or on its budget. If it's the former, that's incredibly subjective.
For example, I loved the hell out of "Stick it to the Man" at E3. I certainly think that's a AAA offering. Batman Blackgate is up there too, as is Dragon's Crown, 1001 Spikes, and easily a dozen other experiences I enjoyed li...
@Prime
I generally play one game on my 3DS, while the Vita has offered me numerous experiences within the realm of my gaming habits.
Currently Muramasa Rebirth is in the card slot and it is beautiful. I could never get into it on the Wii, comfort of the Wii controller perhaps? On the Vita, it's perfect.
I also have nearly 100 titles between physical purchases, digital only purchases, and free PS+ content. Each and everything on there is a...
I'm guessing you don't actually have one?
There were over 40 games on the show floor at E3...many of which hadn't been announced...I'd hardly call that a handful.
Actually, there is debating this thanks in no small part to subjectivity.
I can see the hairstyles being the first thing people draw comparisons to. They're virtually identical, however, Ellie's nose, lips, facial structure and eye color share nothing with Ellen Page's features.
It's unfortunate this Reddit AMA quote has been taken completely out of context. She was stating how unfortunate it was that their game was being confused by a likeness, elevating that they're two completely different project...further elaborating her involvement only with Beyond.
But...whatever makes a great headline right? *disgusting*
They've certainly stepped comfortably into the "follower" role this coming gen. If it was really something they had been listening to the fans on, it would have been announced at the most important unveil of the platforms lifecycle, E3 2013. They missed the opportunity, witnessed first-hand the passion attached to Sony's unveil, and had to take one long step backwards to save face.
Sorry, some will look at this as a brilliantly noble gesture...and admission ...
Pretty sure they said upgrade friendly...I read that in the same context as the PS3, we'll be able to upgrade if we wish.
I was affected. I hopped on to play some TLOU and ran the update, it restarted to the wave background and wouldn't load the XMB.
You can discredit it all you want, but you'll see from my post history that I am VERY pro-Sony, so I certainly wouldn't be trolling an article out of malice.
I'm frustrated and hopeful for a fix, but that doesn't excuse your naivety regarding a scenario that obviously doesn't effect you.
So it mustn't be true. I love all these "pics or it didn't happen" replies. Just count yourself lucky while those of us effected wait for a solution...if one becomes available.
Why wouldn't it be? I went on to play some TLOU last night, noticed it was asking me to update (so I did), and now I'm stuck like many of those in this situation.
This isn't trolling, this isn't rage posting, it's simply an unfortunate situation for more than a handful of us who seem to be effected by this update. The Support Forum thread is now at nearly 100 pages. Probably will be by the time you read this.

There were quite a few RPG's in there...more on the way.
You've either missed the Kotaku article, or chose to ignore it entirely:

Were they also forced into monetizing access to a service that is already monetized? Netflix anyone? Why the hell isn't this accessible to any Xbox Live member, not just paying members?
Don't victimize Microsoft, they certainly aren't innocent of this.
I had this conversation quite some time ago, but I can pretty much guarantee that the prospect of localizing Demon's Souls, at the time, seemed a risky endeavor at best. Considering Sony owns that property, and the overwhelming success of the localization for DS, it appears they don't wish to let history repeat itself.
Hands down, whatever news I'm looking forward to out of E3 next week...it was THIS that boiled my excitement over the top.
There are no motives, this guy genuinely appreciates good games and a talented studio.
Credit where credit is due. Though it's certainly interesting to see it from a Microsoft suit.
I'd certainly be looking at other vessels if mine were taking on water in the wake of a PR $#!TSTORM!
Maybe in sales, but personally...Killzone games are more fun.

Seriously, whatever trust I may have had...although reserved, has been absolutely obliterated with their constant backpedaling to save-face. It's one thing to recognize the challenges/weaknesses, it's another thing to continuously make brazen comments you have to "clarify" to appease an audience. If you're going to be brazen, just stick with it and be arrogant, not apologetic. At least I'd be able to accept that, not...
