To say it's completely different is a bit of a stretch. It has much in common with Terraria and I'd go as far as to say it's an evolution of that game.
The fundamentals of ore grinding, crafting, survival, etc., are all there...kicked up a few notches no doubt, but the games are not alien to one another.
I'm absolutely alone, it seems, in that it didn't meet my expectations. I felt they rewound the clock, so to speak, on Clem's personality for the sake of re-introduction. Some of the decisions she's forced to make in this episode indicate she has very little experience left over from what Lee prepared her for, and then she's doing these things that only a veteran of this world would do. Far too flip-floppy for my liking, but I'm cautiously optimistic.
It better be more Sengoku Basara than Dynasty Warriors...that's all I'm saying. That said, greatly disappointed that our first true Zelda Wii U entry is a total conversion clone.
Pretty sure they seem to be the only one reporting post FW update...all the others were pre-FW update.
Jeff is a win for Microsoft. He's passionate, energetic, professional and approachable. While it will certainly be strange seeing him on the other side, I'm just happy for him, being given the opportunity to do what he does best...get in front of the fans and build an infectious social empire!

So they're preselling 2-to-1 over the Xbox 360, and PS4 has been preselling an average of 2-to-1 over the XBO, so that puts the PS4 at 4-to-1 of the original Xbox 360. If Microsoft claims that they're starting strong, where does that put Sony on the spectrum?
I certainly hope this isn't true...I'm still not on the digital boat, some habits won't die and I desperately want this for my PS4.
I can see the complaint but you pick the party, so that says a lot. I would have 3 or 4 friends in a Chat, TOPS, and realistically we'd all be playing the same game because that's really the only time I want to be talking to these guys all at once. Otherwise, we're all just a phone call away.
I see this as being a far better tool to optimize voice chat for companies that seam to have issues with it in the first place. Terraria...buggy as hell on PS3 where their in...
I'd say that if you're arguing that each version may, as a possibility, look similar...that's less of a knock against the hardware, more of a knock against a development team taking the lazy approach and simply not optimizing for the fresh platform.
I fully expect some companies to adopt this initial development scheme, growing and learning in time to truly take advantage of the respective platforms...but we've all seen those videos of Watchdogs, and they'...
They've mentioned nothing about resolution jumps, but on the topic of extras it features all of the released DLC. Characters, costumes, etc.
Not to mention, Microsoft may not even want the Injustice for XB1. A competitive landscape is great for business, but when they're trying to hawk their own fighting game, two already established franchises would stand a good chance of cannibalizing sales on one, likely KI.

I would guess that some of these bundles, whether it was a retail decision or otherwise, are in an effort to control the supply and where it's going...to sidestep the grey market, and I can't disagree with that tactic. Every year something new comes out it attracts this horrible subset of humanity that buys in bulk with the intent to prey on the market by extorting the desperate.

I absolutely hate it when the PC Gamer cites Crysis this, or Crysis that. Look, I won't argue that Crysis maxed out on PC looks fantastic and, often, serves as a benchmark for performance. That said, Crytek created an amazing engine...they created an amazing tech demo...they thought they could create an amazing game series built on this engine, but you know what? Crysis, as a series, remains one of the most shallow and uninspired games I have ever played. I'll take an inferior looking...
Arguably that would be a logical stance if the road only went one way, but what about everyone else currently developing titles on both platforms? The R&D and development time/budgets, are greatly decreased when agnostic platform development is introduced. It may cost them a bit more, but they'd be able to move their project all across the board in scalable form with little effort and cost.
It should have been developed with next-gen specifications in mind considering...

All it means is CoD:G is coming on the 5th...and whenever the XBO launches, it will be waiting, perhaps that means XBO launches on the 5th...but I'm pretty sure it simply means there will be a library of previously released games just waiting for the hardware arrival.
Didn't anyone seen the run in GameStop? After the first big marketing push when the date slipped, came the full force marketing that had no mention of any platform other than PlayStation 3. Hell, even the blue aurora was all over the place. If one weren't in the know, it would be assumed that PS3 was the only place to get GTAV!
Couple that with the fact that GameStop will be carrying, exclusively, the GTAV Special Edition Pulse Elite Headset and BOOM!
This is easily the best quick response. I would have liked to have given you more @WeAreLegion, but @Gho5t saved the day while I'm in Vegas for CES. All in all, if you're familiar with Terraria you have a great springboard for what Starbound offers. In time the scope is truly what sets SB apart from Terraria with nearly infinite variables on Planetary inhabitants, biomes, etc. The playable species offer quite a bit of diversity as well.
