I think the feature list for Forza 4 is pretty impressive.
But the one thing that still never hits for me is the wonky physics.
In Gran Turismo 5, the steering is tight and responsive. Each car handles as you think it would especially when using a GT wheel.
In Forza 2 and 3, it felt like you were playing a PC game on a damn keyboard.
My buddy is going to buy Forza 4 so I'll get a chance to borrow it when he's finis...
Doing a performance analysis with such old hardware is actually good. Good because people with older hardware can gauge their performance and people with newer faster hardware will see if that old POS PC can run it, surely their higher end parts will run it without breaking a sweat.
I would consider my PC med-high by today's standards with Extreme being an i7-990X and Dual GTX590 or 6990s.
My GTX580 and soon to be FX-8150 will be more than enough to max BF3. Cant wait!
It might sound crazy, but I'm getting it on both PS3 and PC.
My cheaper console friends don't have a high end PC, so they're getting the PS3 versions but I have a ton of fun playing with them.
But I'm definitely going to play the single player experience on the PC and play the online mode in that time to time.
God of War 3 is an excellent game.
Even though I'm going to guess you really meant Gears of War 3.
I'm getting that next paycheck. Cant wait.
Well said.
I am one of those guys who like to play video games to have a good time, have experiences that cant be done in real life, and of course enjoy some good storylines time to time (Uncharted anyone?)
It is telling us that Turn 10 are incompetent developers.
I agree with DICE, ungrateful little morons.
I dunno. I think Resistance 3's ending sucked pretty bad, but the rest of the game was very fun and enjoyable.
I'm still waiting to play Gears 3 though.
I'm ready for this game. I'm borrowing a friend's 360 just to play it since mine is currently having some weird disc reading issues.
This PC will max out 90% of games on the market while still maintaining a solid 30-40+fps in Crysis 2 with Max settings at REAL 1080p. What do you console kids not understand?
"PC versions of the game will look nearly identical"
Blehhh... I'm getting the PC version still anyway. That sucker better be optimized and run a solid 60fps+++, no excuses Bethesda.
Confirms it works, $12 off at newegg
Modern Warfare 3 puts Modern Warfare 2 with new map packs.
*fixed*
Square Enix lied this entire generation of consoles.
FF13 was actually pretty boring to me...
What constitutes as a failure anyway? The PSP is seen as a failure among many people, yet it still moved over 60 million units world wide. Yes it's not the stunning 100+ million units of more successful consoles, but it's not down at the bottom of the barrel 3DO or something.
The 3DS isn't a failure, it's just not as successful as the previous Nintendo hand helds which quite frankly is a very hard place to be.
I actually agree with all of BlackKnight's points. Infact I have a similar set up in which my 46" Samsung is to the left of me while my computer desk is to the right and the computer tower sits in between them. I have a 10ft HDMI cable that's hooked up to the HDTV so I can play ANY PC game there if I wanted to.
In fact, Deus Ex looks fantastic on a 46" true 1920x1080 High FXAA locked 60fps+ V-Sync High Textures Tessellation etc. etc.
Cant ge...
Actually Crysis 1 for PC didn't run as well as it should have. By that I'm talking about very low CPU and GPU utilization.
Despite people's comments about Crysis 2 being a console port, that game will max out my GTX580 90-100% (with everything on max, tessellation etc.) and CPU usage at 70-80%.
Crysis 1 runs like doo doo butter even on a very good hardware. I'm guessing they tried to optimize it much more for the console versions but I'm g...
I belive the article only in the reason SE will make more money.
