Because everything on the internet is 100% true and real.
Michael Pachter is also always right and never wrong.
Actually MW3 is a decent benchmark primarily because for some reason that engine is very sensitive to clock speeds and doesn't seem to have FPS cap at the high end. It will go as high as a GPU setup is willing to process.
From the benchmarks I've seen, 6970s in CF is more like 20% average higher than a 7970. Although in one or two titles, the 7970 matches them but this is more likely due to less scaling on the specific title (Which is why Single GPU's are just more consistent.)
But if the GTX680 really does live up to the hype, then I'd imagine the 680 vs 6970CF will be neck and neck with the exception that the 680 is a single card with no scaling issues.
Cant wait...

I find it funny that the one thing Forza truly lacks is realistic driving physics and handling. There's no way an Audi R8 should feel as floaty as it does.
There's a reason why people consider games like iRacing and Live for speed to be better "SIMULATORS."
Forza is made for riceboys who don't know a damn thing about real racing.
And I'm comparing this to my real life track day experiences, not ...
Every 2 years isn't that bad. But yeah its getting a bit stale now.
If for some reason they could come up with a system similar to iRacing, then they could have a winner.
lol, this article is suggesting that Valve build a machine that can play games right out of the box. Sounds like... a console...
I understand that there are people out there who want to play higher end PC games, but the fact is that you simply cannot have a PC at $249 to play today's PC games at the levels of regular PC gamers.
"Mid-Ranged" cards are already $150-$200. And this type of thing has already been tried by Alienware called the X51. I...
uhh... Clearly its a poor photoshop mistake by the idiot who designed that photo.
This is for the PC, there isn't really a fair comparison.
On the topic of Nvidia or AMD, right now it goes to AMD. They've managed to produce cards that surpass the best offerings of Nvidia while cutting power consumption by half or more, which is no small feat. (Specifically Radeon 7970 vs GTX 580)
Of course we're still waiting to see how the GTX 680 (or whatever it will be called) will answer.
Even then, AMD has been successful with their APU platform in making the cpu and gpu harmonious. If they can tran...
Meh, the PC version is the only one worth playing anyway. The same with Alan Wake, that game is terrific on the PC and its how I feel it should be played.
I think this is pretty fair to be honest. Why support a company that shafts you versus a company that is more open ended and supportive of the consumers.
Same here, but man I wish Bioware would show some respect to the PC community. I mean no native X360 pad support and low res textures everywhere, no graphical options, no DX11 support, nothing PC related.
HOWEVER, don't get me wrong its still nice to be able to enjoy this game at 60+fps with no slow down. Its just you cant help but feel a little shafted they didn't put more effort into the PC release.
I'm disappointed in the PC version tbh. The low res textures on the character models is pretty substantial. Oh well, still getting it for locked 60fps.
My list would be:
1. Call of Duty
2. Call of Duty
3. Call of Duty
4. Call of Duty
5. Call of Duty
6. Call of Duty
7. Call of Duty
8. Call of Duty
9. Call of Duty
10. Call of Duty
Whoever made this is going to get sued by Apple.
I wish Jaffe would get into PC gaming instead. With his vision on gameplay and the unlimited potential of the PC, we could have something more epic than God of War.
Sadly that will never happen.
Waste what? Electric companies are getting paid for the usage, so it's not like it's "free."
Nothing's free. It takes me money to type this comment.
