Yup I know the history behind VGchartz. It's funny because I just adjust the amount in my head automatically. Any X360 and XONE sales are inflated, and any PS console is undertracked. It just shows how much better the console is really doing when he can't fake the numbers as much.

In his head it's been 6 months, and probably also believes the Xbox One is outselling the PS4.
It's under-tracked, so maybe the PS4 is more at like 5.3m
I'm not saying it's just visuals, I'm saying it should be EVERYTHING. Yes better AI, better animations, better audio, better everything. Instead we're going a few steps backwards or really side-grading.
While I realize it's not feasible to have that 100% perfect game, to me it isn't too much to ask for a developer to give us what's worth our dollar.
Yup I actually went to a Target today, 0 PS4's, and 5 Xbone's left in front. I took pictures too if anybody wants them. Now do people understand why the PS4 is selling 2:1 over the Xbox One? It has nothing to do with fanboys or anything, I really think it boils down to $399 vs $499 and everyone will pick $399. It just so happens the $399 system is the more powerful one this time around so it's really a good thing for gamers that people are picking it up.
Why is it so hard for developers to understand people want the best quality for their money as possible. Which means the highest resolution, highest quality textures, highest quality audio, highest quality story, highest quality everything that a studio can do. If it has all that, typically the game will be rewarded by gamers jumping in or the industry giving it accolades left and right.
Imagine if The Last of Us was in 540p with blurry textures everywhere with glitches, I&#...

They are talking about bumping up the Xbox One version's resolution to 900p, except that even at 792p it runs at 40-45fps when you are in the Titan. If anything, they should lower it to 720p which gives a better 1:1 pixel mapping when it upscales and will most likely stay at 60fps without dips. Some strange decisions going on there as far as resolution is concerned.
Apples and Oranges. MAG looking like a PS2 game considering the amount of stuff it had going on at once, it's not a comparison.
Now Titanfall vs something like Battlefield 4. Seriously... Battlefield 4 (despite its netcode issues) make Titanfall look like an X360 launch title.
I'm with Eonjay. Is it really a crime to ask for BOTH? An amazing super high quality game should have everything, which means great gameplay, sound, netcode, and graphics.
Pretty sad stuff here...
Maybe the extra 8% without Kinect got them to bump up that massive increase in resolution from 720p.

It is a big difference except we have come to a point where it is harder to spot for the average joe. I can list the many different things which I'm sure you already know, but 720p vs 1080p is a 1.1m pixels difference. In the PS3 vs 360 era, the biggest difference was around 200,000.
So it just "appears" that the difference isn't big, but it is. But you'...
It's only a dream that it will "catch up" no amount of firmware or updates or magical fairy dust will make up the difference in GPU cores. It's simple 100% factual data! How many times do people need to see it?
PS4 GPU 1152 Cores, 18 CUs - ~HD 7870
X1 GPU 768 Cores, 12 Cus - ~HD 7790
It's like saying Nvidia could make a firmware that will make a GTX 750 as fast as a GTX 760 Ti. It's NOT going to happen!
The game looks pretty good, but it got boring pretty fast.
