Because those market are extremely small for the xbox brand so it wouldn't make a difference. The two BIGGEST markets was the US and UK which last generation it dominated by at least a 40%-50% lead.
This time around, they are being outsold in those two territories as well as the rest of the world.

I have titanfall for the PC. I absolutely had a blast playing it for the first couple weeks. After awhile the novelty wears off quickly.
Titanfall is a blast to play, but it does get boring after awhile.

The Xbox One is widely excessive available at any retail store.
The PS4 though is available at some stores. I wouldn't say widely available.

They are trying to make an argument for gameplay over graphics, yet the SAME games are 1080p on the PS4 for $100 less compared to the X1 at 720p.
Even if both were the same price, that doesn't discount it's still better on PS4.
Part of why the 360 succeeded especially in third party games is because it was the cheaper console with arguably the better version on multi platform games.
