I do not like how loose the sticks are on the xbox one and the weird texture it has. And the bumpers suck.
People know that I am very pro-playstation. But to say the Xbox One failed is foolish. It hasn't failed. It just hasn't done as well as the PS4. It says more about the success of the PS4 and not necessarily about the misfortunes of the Xbox One. It's still selling quite well in terms of console sales.
If anything has failed, it's the Wii U unfortunately.

When are people going to learn that it's the HARDWARE of the Xbox One that simply is the defining factor of why it underperforms compared to the PS4. It's getting out of control.
I have a gaming PC and have had one since 2009. Tell me why is it that after 5 years there's still nothing that looks as good as Uncharted 4, or the order 1886? Sure it might not be in 1440p or running 120fps or whatever the F. It's still the FACT that console developers will always push the boundaries of the hardware due to the closed nature of the platforms.
Now I'm not trying to feed the troll about the whole console vs PC argument. But it's really telling...

Except it comes down to price. Sony can't afford to release another $800 piece of hardware and sell them at a loss.
Which I am fine with. At least the PS4 is able to do 1080p on a majority of its games with only very few 900p exceptions.

But with the super insane massive COD levels of hype for Titanfall which still didn't push the X1.
Nothing will.
Except maybe Halo 5.
Then again it's going to be a collective of games that they need to push and not just one singular title.

Yeah all this talk about power and yadda yadda on the PC was pointless seeing as for how many years of me owning a GTX 680 nothing ever looked like Uncharted 4 or the Order.
It's not just the hardware that drives revolutionary graphics, it's the teams behind the software to complement the hardware.
Which will NEVER EVER EVER happen for the PC as long as it's an open platform where people can either have a $100 gpu or a $3000 one.

You're missing the point of the resolution argument. While sure, resolution is only one factor and isn't the only variable for good visuals. The FACT is that you get the SAME EXACT GAME on the PS4 but with a higher resolution which just looks better. The same is said for the PC if people want to go that route.
Personally I don't care that much anymore either. When the X1 drops to $299 I'm getting one for Gears of War.
