Steam has a ton of games that they sell that aren't even from EA themselves.
And for the record, Dice's Battlefield is a well established, well loved and very popular franchise amongst PC gamers. The game would still sell well even if it wasn't on consoles. The same however wouldn't exactly work with Activision's Call of Duty games.

I don't get it. Do your research people, Call of Duty IS NOT 720p (1280 x 720). It runs at 600p (1024 x 600) to be precise. How else do you expect the game to run at constant 60 fps?
If Activision were to up the resolution to 720p (1280 x 720) and then add in destruction I promise you that game would immediately dip under 60 fps (on consoles of course) on their old overused engine.
I agree. These "certain" PS3 gamers who are complaining are way too much into their heads. They are treated with a lot of good looking games on the PS3, such as the exclusives like God of War 3, Killzone 2, Killzone 3, Uncharted 1, 2 and 3, Resistance 3 etc. and this convinces them that all the best looking games belong on the PS3, therefore anything the PC can do, the PS3 can match with ease.
So they go ahead and witness for weeks the PC footage of Battlefield 3 in...

Call of Duty is an arcade shooter compared to Battlefield 3. That alone says it all.
Microsoft sold millions of this device. It's out there and I have a feeling that the dedicated hardcore who bought it a launch are sort of disappointed due to the lack of games catered towards them. From the looks of E3, I can say that little kids will have a blast time with Kinect from now towards 2012.
They are clearly marketing it towards the casuals; and for that fact if you don't like Kinect, simply don't buy it. Okay, but what about those hardcore gamers who...

Indeed. I hate GFWL and all the client stuff associated with it. It's such an annoying service/client that constantly gets in the way more than help speed things up.
I had trouble for example playing Bioshock 2 because it kept on failing to update and stuff. Once I finally got it done, signed in, up and running I got to play the game. 50 minutes later, someone somewhere in my house turned on my Xbox, signing in with my profile which (stupidly) automatically signed me out ...

Precisely my thinking. Wait and find something to do while the game installs. Besides, having the game run from the HDD means that loading times are faster than they would have been if the game loaded entirely from the disc.
I'm glad. I hate 13 year olds commando-wanna-be running around a map trying to kill everyone else instead of cooperating with the rest of the team to successfully complete objectives and help.
They should stick to Call of Duty while the rest of us play a better game: Battlefield.

He was a kickass father, depending on how you finish the game of course. If you for example decided not to go through those brutal trials, then you sucked as a dad. But some of those trials were pretty brutal to watch, like the one where you make him cut off his finger.
