Wow....this looks very sweet!
..and console fanboyz keep on wondering why the PC is the superior race. Well, because of stuff like this!
When it comes to racing games, I prefer the 360 Controller over the PS3. One reason is the dualshock's wide deadzone (tilting area of the sticks). It's a bit too wide. Don't get me wrong, it is perfect for accuracy related games, but that extra space plus extra sensitivity can result into over-steering your vehicle.
A movie about Angry Birds IN THE WORKS???
This is just ridiculous.
I agree. Plus I've had all the previous versions of DiRT (DiRT 1 and DiRT 2) all on the Xbox 360 and I prefer to keep sequels to onto the same platforms their prequels were.
I'm actually working on a plug-in that installs into Mozilla firefox and it automatically hides her name (Warprincess116) and all her comments from the entire site :)

And that is why you have only one bubble.
Just goes to show that we can die at any given moment without any warning, even though the odds of that happening are slim. May she Rest in Peace.
She was cute. Just enjoy your time as much as you can on this Earth, be it through your daily life or your virtual (gaming) life. Make the best of both worlds and be happy.
Have a good holiday weekend to all you folks in the United States!
There's nothing narrow-minded about the thinking. It's common knowledge. People play on the iPads/Mobile devices to pass time, on the bus stop or something. No way in hell I would replace my PS3/PC for an iPad for any game. There's no game that I play on the PS3 or PC that's available on the iPad. I hate Angry Birds, I just don't see what the whole hype about the game is about. It's just me. I'm hardcore to the bone :)
Show us a game that runs on the PS3 that you can play on the iPad, one worth replacing a PS3 for; and NO, Angry Birds is not gonna cut it.
Show us Killzone 3 running on your iPad then we'll talk.
Of course not. Just because the media knows nothing about the hardcore gaming market and only see the casual one because of its size doesn't mean that the console market is dying or will be extinct pretty soon.
As long as people keep on buying the consoles (which they will), no way are they going to suddenly die.
This was bound to happen. A game as popular as Gears of War 3 kept tight under the lid would be very hard to do.
A gamer is born. Now that she's at least experienced quite a lot of that world, she might go back go her career but I'm sure she'll sooner or later come back to gaming.
I'm a bit of a trophy whore. Games that you probably MUST platinum as a trophy whore are:
Assassin's Creed II
Batman Arkham Asylum
Infamous
Prince of Persia the forgotten sands (probably one of the easiest games to platinum)
You won't be disappointed with your pre-order.
They need to get rid of the XMB and redesign a whole new interface. It was nice, but a new one could really be nice.
@jdfoster00
My internet connection's speed is 38Mb/s (download) and about 20Mb/s (upload) That's about 4.75 MB/S of downloading, so I'm pretty sure it's not the internet speed.
When I say lag, I mean FPS. NOTHING to do with connection. It's like when you try to run Crysis on an underpowered PC, you get very little lag with little FPS, THAT'S what I mean.
Do yourself a favor and go back to play Uncharted. It's a good game.
As for this lucky bastard who played for 8 hours straight, good for him. I can't play it for even 10 minutes without having my PS3 freeze or lag horribly.
Some trophies were forgotten, like getting the platinum in Wipeout HD is a PAIN in the ass!
I actually enjoyed the powerplay thing in the match. I was in a team deathmatch and all of a sudden the powerplay started about halfway through. Kill the enemies, all marked on the map! I thought that it was pretty cool though :). I like it.
The PS3 XMB is a fine interface and one thing I love about it is its speed of access. I can jump into menus and sub-menus pretty fast. The Xbox dashboard is a bit slower due to the small animations here and there.
The thing they have to work on is the IN GAME XMB. It is absolutely sluggish. Things like accessing/replying messages shouldn't be a hassle. The interface has far too many options that are not necessary. It could be regrouped and made much smaller to improve loa...
